the VL titan wins hands down. The way the vorastra glides through space like a giant manta ray is as beautiful as it is menacing. For best cap id have to give it to the discord. Its curves are beautiful and like the vorastra its has a way of moving through space that's simply captivating

This might be one of the few cases where you need a revelation battle cruiser. It revere ability will allow you to disable caps as they try to jump out. with careful micro you can use it to kill his caps one by one. You can do the same with the TEC akkans ion bolt. But the best ship for forcing enemys to stay and fight is the Vasaris space egg. 2 of them at low level or 1 at a high level can force a decent sized enemy fleet to stay and fight even when there

Quick question. If you have a team that includes one VL and one VR and they give each other their phase pacts does that mean that all the allies can use the phase network of the VL or still only the VR.

This is something that i noticed before. checked to see if it was fixed in 1.03 and it wasn't so im saying it again. The VL tech jump stabilization is bugged. Instead of making your ships resistant to enemy star base's jump destabilization it makes enemy ships resistant to your star base's jump destabilization.
Sins Rebellion is a good game, but there are a few things that just seem to not really fit. I just want a few opinions on some of the things in Rebellion that are just, well, in need of repairs=p 1.Vasari Rebel Titan For one thing, titans are meant to be powerhouses, and even more so when they level up. However, in one of my sins galactic conquests, I ran into trouble against a particular, and singular, foe, a VR titan. I had my fleet c

Our threads have different goals. The other thread is about balancing STTC which right now needs a pretty big nerf. This thread is about making striping all your planets and only having your titan to keep you in the game a viable strategy. As it is now people only strip neutral and enemy worlds while keeping there worlds in tact for trade, ship production, culture and the kostura cannon. In effect there getting all the benefits with non of the risk. so i want to make it so

Well the idea is to punish them for having planets and reward them for taking the risk of having none this way the VL can becoming viably become fully mobile like the devs intended.

Advent have the weakest early game of the three factions. But early game expansion is more or less the same for each faction. Build a mother ship and some frigs send them of to start colonizing in one direction. then build a colony frigate and some more light frigs and send them off in the other direction. If you want to expand really fast just kill the siege frigates and leave the rest for base defenses.
Perhaps such buffs would be needed if amunt of resources STTC gives gets significantly nerfed.
Then how bout this. for each planet you own strip to the core will give you diminishing returns something like the amount of resources you get divided by the planets you own. This way unless they get rid of everything of almost everything they wont be getting enough resources for it to be worth it.

IF your advent you can use the Illums illusion ability to make it seem like their are more of them then there are at first glance so an enemy might try and use the jump maw combo to take out what seems like a massive amount of Illums when in reality most of them are fake and the real ones are hiding in a adjacent grav well.

That ability is so terribly broken right now. Also if you strip only 2-3 planets to the core you can have a huge head start on making a "steady" income that you are talking about. You seem to really misunderstand the ability and its benefits. You don't strip everythi

This is something Ive been thinking about for a while now. There is really no incentive to completely strip all your planets and go fully mobile. Besides bodging novalith rounds and being able to avoid combat most of the time i cant really think of a good reason. In fact there are many reasons to keep several of your planets. 1. Kostura cannon. If you abandon all your planets you lose access to the most powerful super weapon in the game. Even more so when combined with

If you see a LV 6 vorastra spread your frigs apart. Once the maw is active it cant move and it only lasts ten seconds.
Seems I was rather excessive with the time-to-strip proposal - the goal of all these requirements was mainly to give players who stand to lose planets that they would otherwise colonize a chance to prevent the planet from being destroyed the 10 minutes was just a seat-of-the pants estimate of how long it would take to cross 5-7 gravwells. Now that I think about it, it seems almost like the strip time should be proportional to map size - o

OPs nerfs were a little excessive. You have to remember without striped to the core the VL really have nothing going for them when compared to the VR. I suggest this. In order to use striped to the core you need to have a titan built but it doesn't have to be present and the strip should take 3-5 minutes. I also think the tech striped to the core should have 3 levels. Each level increases the payout by 1/3 with the final upgrade making it pay out what it

I think you should run a test on how each titan preforms against a well balanced late game fleet from one of the three races because being able to wipe out a fleet single handedly is more useful then being able to 1v1 and enemy titan.

Forgive me if these have already been brought up but its late at night and im to tired to search.Anyways. Problem 1. The VL titian doesn't benefit from wave tech. This is pretty annoying seeing as one of their special technologies gives them a 70% bonus to wave dmg. Problem 2. On the underbelly of the VL titan there is a thrust exhaust with no thruster. I can ignore it usually but when i look at it just looks weird. <p
