Never used diplomacy much until recently. I can't figure out how to even start relations with a minor faction. I send in an envoy ship. It gets shot at and destroyed. Can't setup an embassy, only can use diplomatic immunity function. Where does Goodwill come in? I'm not sure that I am even looking at minor faction planets. Names of the races on the planets are things like Herdunt Guard, or Kilebi Scabites, etc. Hovering over their planet i see status markers such as 50% allegiance, po
