Is it possible someone can cobble together a rough guide on exactly what the new planet types feature? I'm talking general advantages/disadvantages. It just seems like there's a lack of information on this subject at the moment, I'm colonising planets and not really understanding what I'm getting from it. For example: Ferrous worlds have a very high metal asteroid count but as far as population or slots go, I haven't properly paid attention. Feeling some solid reco

Maybe you never meant to insult it, mate, but that's how it came out. Come on, it's release day and one of the first topics they get is calling the game or part of it shit? I don't blame them for being pissed off a little bit.

Ok, let's be honest here, we know virtually nothing about this and we can't possibly guess with any real degree of accuracy, it's just going to be kept hidden until the day they release it, if it ever comes. Personally I like the idea of it remaining an eternal mystery but I still want to know! But, this aside, I'll throw in my opinion. Right, so the only thin

I am always amazed by how ungrateful people can be in these circumstances. JJBuck2? I take my hat of to you. Couldn't have put it better myself. Lets try and help the devs yeah, rather than just hurl abuse at them? Ok, so one or two things are a little overpowered, you think now they're just going to sit back and ignore us? Whining (and yes, it's whining) gets you nowhere; two of the most recent updates I've seen (removing

I reckon Nanoleech will get the nerf like malice did (stopping the old Holy Trinity) by just sticking a cap on the number of ships it can effect. It can be beaten at the moment but taking out something which essentially gets stronger the more you throw at it takes some doing. The titan/high capital ship strategy works in theory but mother of god its difficult to actually field, especially when the A.I. just tend to feed it XP behind your back.

Personally, I feel the TEC Loyalist 'Battlefield Promotions' research is... just a tad understated. It gives a 5/10% boost to all capital ships within friendly (presumably including allied?) gravity wells. This is something we've been aware from since the most basic of details has been released. However, I have to admit, while I expected a sort of Mass Transcendiance-effect constant xp bonus (up to a level), this seemed just as good. But I've now come round to th

Ok, so apologies if any of these have been spotted and/or incessantly whined about already. Just throwing in my lot here. I have no screenshots or other evidence than what is written here. - Every time I win a victory (so far only regular military) the voiceover won't stop repeating the same phrase. 'Victory' for TEC, 'The Unity is victorious(!)' for Advent. Will not go away no matter what I try. - Capital Ship Trainable Level: In the Tech Tr
