Hi guys, I finally got the Rebellion working on my computer and its a great game. However I wanted to ask, how do you get the Corsev battlecruiser to capture ships and NOT destroy them? I heard you can capture enemy ships with the corsev and then they can be part of your fleet :).
It is possible that the game is set for the wrong video card? My computer is new (Asus G750JX) and maybe the game is not recognizing the new hardware, ive been told its high end stuff I have. Im not sure if you know stardrive but that games seems to work flawlessly so I cant understand why it not working so well :(.
Its happening as soon as I start moving ships around at the beginning of the game (first 10 minutes or so). There is also a lag when I zoom in and out and change pages on the menu screen. My computer is dual boot (I have win 7 and win 8). could that cause it? could also be a graphics problem? I was reading that if steam recognizes the intel onboard graphics instead of the dedicated graphics that can cause a lag too.
Ok, well is there anyway to use more of my hardware in the game? I was expecting with all my hardware that this game would run more smoothely. Well its affecting the game because even when I only had 3 planets and 2 capital ships their was an annoying lag.
Sorry I don't understand. Do you mean my computer is too good for the game and that is why I am having problems? :(
Thanks for the help. Any ideas of how to solve slow game play? I have a brand new asus g750gx with 4th gen i7 cpu, 32gb of ram and 3gb video card. Im a little disappointed that is running so slow with these specs :(
Hi, I have a high end computer (32gb of Ram, 4th gen i7 processor and 3gb video card) but SOE rebellion (it has the forgotten worlds dlc to) is running slow. It hesitates as I go from one window to another (such as the single player window to the map window) and the ships move slow. Anyone heard of this problem before? any help you guys could give me would be great.
Is v1.524792 the fully updated version? I mean, has it automatically updated itself when it was installed? (1.79 beta, 1.51 update etc).
Forbidden worlds is not listed in the bottom right hand corner where the version number would be.
wow you guys are quick. I checked properties and cant find the DLC I installed listed. Oh I not sure if this matters but the computer I have has Win 7 and Win 8. I'm trying to run rebellion on win 7.

Hi guys this problem I have is related to updates and steam account. Ok I'm new to this but I wanted to ask how do I know if SOE Rebellion has received updates? does the version number on the bottom right hand corner of the introduction/menu screen change when its been updated? (for example update 1.37 will change the version number on the introduction/menu screen to v1.37). Also my steam account doesn't show that Rebellion has been updated (it may not have been) and I cant find a way
Hi guys, hope you can help me with this one coz I am lost. I have installed SOE Rebellion onto my computer and installed DLC forbidden worlds. However while the computer says the DLC is installed the game doesn't have any of the DLC features and its not listed in the bottom right hand corner of the introduction screen.
