I've played at least 4,000 matches total on SC2 and never had a wait time longer than 2 minutes, and even a 2 minut

Hello, So I am considering getting this game, I played a couple of games of it a little over a year ago and really liked the gameplay but didn't have my own copy, but there are some things I wanted to know first: Is 1v1 played competitively, or is it mostly just team games? How long does a game usually last? I mostly SC2 and the competitive 1v1 aspect is really what I play games for, wanted to try out this game for when I get bored of practicing SC2.
