Little update: I've spammed map creations and sometimes it comes through without crashing so it's not the map I think, but rather one or some of the races having issues, this just happens to be more obvious on a many-player map with all set to random :)

Hi Rick, I wanted to try the 7DS re-invigoration however I minidump on creating a game in the Rise of Empires map, with all random races. I tried using the mail feature of your site but that one doesn't seem to work (the capcha won't process anything correctly). This doesn't appear to be on _every_ game, but most of the big map, many players, random races. Is there anything on my end I can do to help debug? Cheers,</

So do I, but that's no reason to release a race with placeholder graphics, placeholder models, unfinished AI, unfinished abilities, unfinished research etc which is most likely the case as they are (again, just guestimating as a developer myself) in the process of properly finalizing the models, textures, abilities etc. There is a huge gap between what a customer perceives as "partially finished" and what a dev sees as "partially finished"

the point of the beta is to test "finished" features. Obviously releasing unfinished features would lead to you (and others) submitting bug reports on functionality that they KNOW is not finished. This just leads to an avalanche of bug reports that would overshadow the bug reports they would get over features/functionality that were done. I'm trying to get all cozy with an AI and so far in over 5hrs of gameplay it has never ever sent an envoy to any of my planets when given a mission. Do they just not research it? It makes it impossible to get the diplomacy achievements when playing against (or with) AI. The game was a 1v1v1v1 FFA (3x AI)

On many occasions during a single game I've had my screen just randomly start panning into a certain direction for a short while with no way to stop it. It occurs randomly in just about every game I've been playing against AI so far. Don't have any other info as it just seems to happen randomly :(

their detection range might be good, but without micro, they only just move to the closest mine and thus won't reveal others. I end up getting a bunch of scouts and having to single-select each of them to send them to some other direction in the grav well. If I don't do this, they spend eternity trying to collectively fly back and forth between single mines.

Scouts take ages to clear mines in the beta. It goes towards a mine, kills it, then goes back towards its original location (when normally moved to a planet, this would be the outer ring). This way it takes ages for the scouts to clear mines. Additionally when having several scouts, they all target the same mine, go towards it, kill it, and go back to their original spot only to repeat targeting a single mine again. This strikes me

I just had the oddest "crash". Somewhere in a 4-player (3x AI) the game just froze. I checked the task manager and it was at around 1.7gb used. The thing that was odd however was that I could not kill the app, it did not show as (Not Responding), it was just frozen. On my other screen I could happily do whatever other things like watch a movie or whatever, but the game itself was non-responsive. I'd attach the crash report, but

Confirmed, just had the same happen. One of my capital ships just vanished into deep space, it's selectable on the planet where it was, but if I select and focus it I end up somewhere in deep space.

I just got Trinity from Steam (entrenchment 1.053) and I cannot create base stars as TEC, neither are there any of those titans. Does the beta4 simply not work with the steam version? :( for the record, all the "new" races from the mod etc do show up.
