[quote who="Gr_Ad_Kinz" reply="226" id="3730509"] Forget a campaign mode - it doesn't need it and if they did add it.. it wouldn't be the selling point. Sins is successful for the mod-ability and the game-play, not the story. If they release SINS II with 64bit, full Multi-core support (can eat as many cores as you have), graphics overhaul, and revamp the UI. It's like printing money for them. I wouldn't mind sins with a new coat of paint (ie another expansion) as long the engine could handle the game better in large games.
I don't think steam monitors file integrity in real time, only issue might be when you update the game.

After coming back to this mod again, it feels like the UNSC gets wrecked by the covenant. I played the 3v3 and my ships literally went pop as soon as the enemy showed up. Even the starbase sometimes goes pop O.o Am I doing something wrong lol?

Pretty cool. Keep up the good work!
Is it normal that the sol system and powerful pirates addons are not compatible with the AHA addon?
This is genius
[quote who="IskatuMesk" reply="26" id="3436371"] I would expect indie developers to be the least lazy because they are inclined to compete with larger studios who greatly prefer quantity over quality. It's not about making the AI moddable. Most companies who claim to be making something "moddable" don't even know what modding is. It's just about common sense and respecting one's own work, planning for the future, etc. No doubt in my mind they were s
Idea isn't new or innovative really. Its been out there and public opinion has been that its not worth the time. We all want our own armies and stuff. Its neat but sadly not demanded. If people really like this idea, there are other games that support it. SC has been mentioned, Rise of Nations is another. I'm not sure how flexible the sins engine is, but while modding it in is impossible, I really doubt that altering the game code to support this is extensive or exhaustive see

There's going to be some friction between game makers and Microsoft over Windows 8, so it's not expected that compatibility problems will be sorted out right away. The best solution for Win8 right now is to dual-boot with Win7. If you can't do that, then you either have to downgrade or say goodbye to all of your old applications. Can anyone tell me why this crashes in the rebellion galaxyforge and not normal sins galaxyforge? Seems odd when you can play these maps in rebellion.
How about letting the hanger flak upgrade also affect the starbase? That way you can have some sort of light anti air ability without needing to upgrade them.
instead of just a toggle, how about a limit? Allow a range of how many superweapons are buildable per faction or even per team.
I think you mean cores, multiple processors are mostly for servers and whatnot
