"I'd also like to see Gas Giants with multiple moons for added flavour, but I'm not sure how this would be implemented." I imagine something like an extractor, except with the properties of a colony pod or trade port would actually be really easy to do. Perhap with some research to upgrade the effect. If you could also make it give a small amount (2-6) of logistic or tactical spots in the gravity well, regardless of planet ownership, I'm not

While Pbhead is probably right about it being too late, do want to say I'd really like that feature, too, especially if it would label starting positions. There's even a large open spot in the GUI that almost seems made for it. Having to spend 10-20 minutes exploring a map or using firing up GalaxyForge just to see if I like a map feels wrong.

It could have something to do with the difficulty setting of the AI. I've been doing 1v2-3 normal AIs on FFA to get back in the groove of things and play with the new toys. Perhaps the easier AIs are just more prone to being pessimistic and throwing in the towel? I've yet to have one be defeated that DIDN'T have three or four planets left and at least one capital ship. Hell, one even quit while he had a titan/three cap/fodder fleet; PLENTY of fight left in that guy. Doe

Between Novaliths, twin starbases for Loyalists, and that meat grinder of a titan the rebels have, I'm really curious how the non-TEC factions will play. TECs almost seem overpowering compared to how I envision the rest playing. Maybe there will be something with the advent that finally redeems them for me.

Not really, at the moment it's all about micromanagement. A few ships nearby to help destroy speeds thing up; I usually leave a scout or two and a pair of light carriers. After watching the scout when it was controlled by AI, though, I got the feeling they wrote a script but it didn't quite work right yet. If that's the case, I suspect they'll tweak it so it's less labor intensive. If not, maybe they'll notice these threads and do the same. There are certai

I suspect this is a known bug, but I didn't see a post, so here I go. Did a 3 player FFA with two AI today and saw that one of my opponents destroyed the other faction. Only problem is they still had ships, planets, and well, generally were alive. I THINK it's due to Novalith cannons destroying a planet population, and a free colony ship (which is still AI controlled) colonizing another planet, but not 100% sure, as it took me a bit to get my fleet over there to look. All I
