The icons are not finished maybe in later version. And I also seen my opponents surrender too, don't know if its a bug but I seen one of them lose a lot of ships in their war and lose a lot of planets. So maybe their resources are so low they can't keep up with the war and surrender. idk

Thanks harpo. I can't believe i missed that field. Could you or myfist0 refresh my memory on how to permanently put races on a certain planet instead of random because randomizeposition False in GF doesn't work. I know myfist0 did a fast walk through but I was to slow to understand what he meant.
Hey, Hey. I think I miss something here. I position the artifacts certain planets. But playing through the game every thing was were it should be but then 1 of the other artifacts spawned on a different planet. How would I turn this off so it won't do that?
Because this is not their finally version. It's only 0.5.5 and they still gots a bit more for there final release v1.0
Hey jartigerx. If you want to change the D12 Brel (NoJubeth) class to the more common D12 Brel Bird of Prey. The fastest way to do this is to go into the FrigateKlingonNoJubeth.entity file; select all and delete, then go to the FrigateKlingonLongRange.entity file select all copy and paste it on to the FrigateKlingonNoJubeth.entity file and your down. Good old fashion birds of prey.
Since we're in the topic of micro details. I'm looking at some ships abilities. Would it be logical for the Capital ships Klingon- VoDleh and the Romulan-DDeridex that spawn ships for aid to permanently keep them and deduct the ships from the fleet capacity? It's not like the Federation Norway that cause an Illusion or the Nebula class that tamper with the Space Time Continuum. Hey Jartigerx. You are correct. But remember that the Borg adapt very quick. That's why you would hear in the background by someone "Re-modulating shields". See Federation shields were only good for the first volley attack then the Borg adapted. Now their cutting beam would cut straight through their hull like the first time the Enterprise meet the Borg. In the movie First Contact The Enterprise E's shield help up probably cuz of their high shield mitigation.
Hey buds. I see you guys got rid of the second D12 bird of prey for the Klingons from ent to dp. Are you guys going to replace the D12 birds of prey that spawn from the Capital ship too? It still has the old design from ent version.
Lol you should see my lazier days when I have run-on sentences up the wazoo. Yea I finally saw the vanilla diplomacy artifact modifiers. And yea they all but 1 have a second modifier. Good thing too I was going bananas with this galaxy space travel thing.
That's why it's called wishful thinking and not reality.But I did run into a small bug,I forget the name of the colonizing capital ship for the Romulans.I think one of their abilities is to increase shield mitigation when under heavy fire but this ships shield mitigation was at 110% against a large fed fleet.So I saved and reboot but was still there.So I just started a new game.

What u said makes sense.Non of my stars connect to a planet they are all connected by planet to planet.But in the vanilla what would be the difference between hyperspace speed and galaxyspacetravel if they both do give the 50% speed boost.And the english.str file for this mod does not mention anything about less mass or turning rates.???I did check to see if my soase is up to date and soa2 is as well, and they are.Weird.
For give me for being blind.I did read its description about reducing phase drives and ship mass.So does this mean Galaxy travel is missing the modifiers for it?It has the same modifier as High yield warp drive in the research box but missing the mods for mass reduction like in the Borg lattice armor and the mods for turning rate like in the Klingon's turning increase research box. :(
Sup GoaFan77.Are you talking about hyper space speed which increases the jump of phase lane travel by 50%?Cuz Galaxy travel increases jump speeds between stars only is what it says on its info card.
O by the way how are things going with the mod team?Are you guys still working on a patch or a conversion to rebellion?
Yea that's what happened.I didn't use galaxy forge i changed the English.str and nothing happened.I guess the best I can do for single player games is just change the modifier and the modifier type to what ever I want.I think I'll change it to modify shields or fire rate.Thx myfist0 for the info.
Thx myfist0.I'm able to modify the contents of the artifact and change it to anything like shields etc.But the the title and the Icon of the Artifact is where i got lost or missed something.When ever I change the name of it from galaxytravel to something else it doesn't show up on the map.
1 problem I ran in to is that all my solar systems last planet are connected by phase lanes to the next solar system.So there's no need for stat to star travel which makes artifact Galaxy Travel useless.My question is I tried to change the Artifact to something else.I changed the text in the English.str,GalaxyscenarioDef.and the ResearchSubject_Artifact_GalaxyTravel.entity foldrers.And it doesn't work,am I missing a step?Thx
Very nice major stress.I play fortune favours the bold map and i added more detail to it.Since the game starts off pre next generation and original star trek I like to give my self a challenge.Every race's 1st solar system is not populated,so easy way to tech up.But the next solar system connected to first is populated with pirates.Very hard and fun map to play.
Hey buds. I wanted to ask the community what type of maps are you'll playing?And in detail do you guys play where u warp from star to star or are all your solar systems connected from planet to planet with phase lanes?
Or if they wanted they would ally themselves with someone to beat another enemy then bend you over after they beat their enemy.Like they did in Voyager when they allied them selves to beat species 8472.They they tried to assimilate Voyager.(The enemy of my enemy is my friend).
Sup guys. 1 small question,how can I assign the 12 artifacts to certain races or planets instead of being random.Gf gives an option but doesn't work. Would I change it in the entity folder?
I totally agree with just_jim. I always wanted the offspring of Star trek armada and birth of the federation.Now we have it.Like the movie Pineapple express says "This is the product of baby *******" lol
