Hello all, I am well aware that we don't seem to have proper ship sizes for the starships of this game, but I do remember and ages old thread discussing it, and how they might have the sizes worked out. If I am not mistaken is it referring to the phase cannons it uses? haven't got access to the game where I am at the moment so I can't check
the cobalt and disciple are both up there as 'the best light frigate' the cobalt is robust and reliable (as far as light frigates being reliable goes) the disciple is a nice little cheap spammy unit with a good support ability. the skirmisher falls behind simply because it isnt cost effective (until you get late game Vasari research, but this is the case with all vasari frigates/crusiers). And for early game cost effective is life or death.

I have about 16 games on ICO (hardly any), with a 50% win loss ratio (8:8). I do however participate in a STACK of LAN SoaSE games, having a group of SoaSE friends we regularly organize meetings for some good old spaceship destruction. While there are a few of them (3 to be exact, out of 8 including myself), who are utterly useless/the definition of cannon fodder, the remaining 4 + myself are more than capable, and play just like any good player would over ICO.
Oh of course competent players re-focus fire and they have, I watch them. But the Antorak has a great antimatter pool, and can repeatedly cast Phase Out Hull for a considerable period of time. What this allows for is a little merrygoround like this. 1. Phase ship out, enemy ships change target 2. Forgive me with quoting, not so good with using it yet. 1) I get 4 caps before titan because the research for max cap slots goes 1>1>1>2, so it just makes, to me, economical sense at the time 2) I dont have the best experience with gravity warhead, it just never appeared to do what it needed to do for me, will try it out a few more times and re-make a conclusion. This does sound inviting. 3) I never have repair cloud on autocast in general cases

Hello fellow masters of starship destruction! I thought I might share a Vasari capital ship fleet synergy I have found to be incredibly effective, and strongly advise you to try it out yourself. This, like any proper capital ship synergy, requires keen observation and micro, particularly with the Anotrak Marauder (probably one of the most overlooked ships in the game, and this is equally as likely to be because using it correctly requires such precise monitoring of its actions
I haven't modded sins before but I will look into that... I was actually suggesting it gets a normal pulse weapon (like on the skirmisher)
Hi All After playing Beta 3 for a bit, I noticed the wave cannons on the capital ships are orientated wrong... ie the Antorak's Waves fire vertically when they should be horizontal and the Kortols fire horizontally when they should fire vertically. Also When I saw the Antorak fire the pulse shots in the cinematic trailer I was like "Finally! my favorite capital ship's pathetic pulse beam is being replaced with something badass!" nope, still a weak looking pulse
The phase jumping orkies Are OP at the moment, but you can't not let it enter hostile territory... The orkolus is the vasari's structure buster. Make the research tier 7 or something... And put in a delay for the reactivation of other star bases in the well of a destroyed/ departed active orkolus.

Think about it... Judging by what Timmaigh said the ability is, at the moment, incredibly overpowered... Strip 5 planets and you don't have to worry about money again! All you need to do is nuke EVERY PLANET YOU OWN apart from say a desert planet near the front with frigate factory spam and then you are set to produce a massive fleet... Well, I agree with the OP'ness of Corvettes, but I had an army of 100 of the buggers, went to attack the enemy... 1 minefield, right infront of my corvettes... They all jumped into the mines, I lost 83 corvettes to ONE MINEFIELD (not multiple mine clusters together but just 1 proximity mine field) So the bastards are incredibly weak to minefields, think I'm going loyalist and digging in next PvP game... WHERE ARE YOUR CORVETTES NOW?!
The Vasari have the best lines... My favorite is the bomber squadron "Deeeeaath from ABOVE!!"

Hi all I'm a huge sins fan and unfortunately I'm Australian... which means hosting via the ICO server is not exactly preferable... Obviously for friend games I want to host myself, but all I get is a message telling me to check the FAQ on firewall options etc, but nothing is listed.
