So keeping it as an active lets you focus on the Offensive/Defensive Kol dynamic and is good for tactical considerations as an Active ability. The Kol ability that should be made Passive is Flak Burst. Any Strike Craft flying in the Vicinity of the Kol just takes the damage. That would go a LONG way towards discouraging bomber spam and cementing the Kol a place in TEC fleets. <

Everyone keeps suggesting making adaptive forcefield a passive to fix the long suffering Kol. That is the wrong approach, the Kol is best as a ship that balances its offensive output and survivability. Still it is too hungry it needs a passive. I'm going to offer the unorthodox choice. Make Flak burst passive, tune it obviously but make it so that strike craft take damage whenever they are in proximity to a KOL. Yes Bomber Alpha will still get off at least on

I genuinely struggle to find a role for the Corsev, it doesn't do a lot of damage and its special abilities only interact with each other. It lacks synergy with other TEC ships and abilities and it's own abilities confer no advantage in capital ship fights. It really needs to be given at least one ability that can target enemy capital ships, as is it is hard to justify its place in the fleet.
