Thanks for the prompt replies guys, the connection is wired. i did a traceroute to google as well which doesn't really prove much lol. I tried pinging the ico.stardock.com server and it timed out, i dont know if these are the correct servers though. Here's a screenshot of what's going on. Hye guys so whenever i play the game i get between 1k-5k ping in multiplayer games. I play BF3 and starcraft daily and regularly and have never seen this before in my life. I usually never get higher than 50 ms to any server. It can't be my computer because i have an [email protected] Ghz and a gtx580 with 6 gigs of ram and it can't be my internet because as ive explained before i have never gotten lag before, and in am on wired university internet.&nbs
Hey there, So i have been an avid online gamer for a while now playing BF3 and starcraft 2 quite a lot. I have never seen my ping go over 50. Yet for some reason whenever i connect to Sins and try and join a multiplayer game, my ping reaches levels of 2000 and today 5000. This obviously means something is off, i don't know whether it is my trace route or my university firewall that is causing this. Please help i really want to get in on the larger 5v
