Maybe if the occupation planet was not in another start system, but just connected to the star via a phase lane. Everyone would have access to the planet, but this would also solve the above mentioned problem.
why would the vasari loyalists want to lug those slow moving blobs around when they are trying to pack up and leave ASAP. they could just eat a planet and make and upgrade as many orkys as they wanted
Well, with phase engines, they wouldn't be slow (idk how it works but I'm assuming all ships/structures in phase speed move at same speed, that's how it appears ingame). They would be slow in orbit, but that is
Do not know why Vasari Loyalist lore requires phase jumping Starbases. As both the Vasari loyalist and rebels are leaving the area, it makes more sense for the rebels to have them as they are taking along Tec and Advent allies with them rather than the loyalist who are commited to sacrificing the enemy for resources.
Yes, agreed with the Rebels, but if Loyalist take resources and move along (and we have already established that t

I am wondering if they have switched the roles of Orky's Phase travel ability between the loyalists and rebel Vasari. Vasari Loyalists are the ones on the run, taking what they need and abandoning the "planet", whereas Rebels rely on speed and ease of movement. Having a mobile starbase makes sense for Loyalists since they wouldn't want to leave such a structure behind. Mobile starbases DON'T make sense for Rebels because they are ponderous to move and do not rely on the "hit-and-r

Agree with tepegoz, when I play Vasari I never even research the corvette, dies too easily and cost is too high to build in the first place. IMO, the best corvette is Vespa (Advent Rebel). Its energy disruption reduces average weapon damage and slows down antimatter recovery. In an extended fight where the corvettes tend to die off and fire focus is used early, reducing enemy's weapons fire for multiple enemies is valuable for the early/middle battle scenario.

Ok I tried it in game: http://i46.tinypic.com/2j0z2pz.jpg (I couldn't embed the image) You can only activate the Maw on frigates and corvettes BUT when using the ability, it sucked in and destroyed Destras and Aria Drone Hosts (cruisers) along with other frigates. However, I also noticed that ships farther out got sucked in, but did not get destroyed. So I guess [

I can't tell from the video clip, but I believe that the ships that weren't destroyed were Iconuses (ie cruisers). In game, the Maw ability targets only frigates and corvettes. That might be the reason.

Well, it could be justified by making the new structures at a specific range from the SB. Therefore, the SB's gravitational field (let's assume there is one) allows for, perhaps 2 civilian structures, making this upgrade viable. And it wouldn't make the TEC overpowered, because they can already construct ships and have trade lanes. Since TEC are industrial, it is fine. The biggest use I see for this is building Cap Factory or Broadcast centers. If this doesn't balanc

Press Alt+click on unit. This will select all of the same units in gravity well. This goes for anything, not only ships (ie structures, constructors, strikecraft etc). It helps so much, that your mind explodes and you never see Sins the same way again [e digicons];P[/e]
Does no one remember that the only ship to make it back from the "Threat" had suffered major battle damage?
Agreed. The crew of the ship was found completely mad with fear. I don't think a black hole would make anyone mad, even after escape. Sure they would be scared to getting ripped to nothingness, but since they managed to escape, the crew had a belief that there was a chance to escape (and luckily they did), and would no

I posted a comment on a similar post some days ago: I feel is that they should keep the cost of making a Titan relative to their level/experience when being made. Not only would it justify the retention of the level/experience by Titans, but it would also make you protective of your high level titan. Not too much cost variance, but still should be there. For instance, in one game I was playing, I was on the verge of destroying an Advent

Like, in one game I was playing, I was on the verge of destroying an Advent rebel empire. They only had like 3 planets/asteroids left. I destroyed their level 6 Eradica (it took down a lot of my

Indeed, I have been playing Rebellion day and night (well maybe not that much but still a lot). Even though there are small changes, the game feels a lot different to play

Currently, there is no way of distinguishing between the rebels and the loyalists in both the races [not that I know of, I have looked to see any differences but couldn't find any], if you start the game with randomized factions (as I mostly do). Granted it is not a major issue, I would still like to see something that would help me tell if the enemy I am facing is a rebel or loyalist. Right now, the only way I can tell is when he builds his titan. Since it can take time to buil

Some problems I have noticed while playing: I have noticed a problem with mine detection for both TEC and Advent. Whenever I tried to use the scout ships to reveal enemy mines, the mines remained phased out. Just to be certain, I parked my scouts near mines a long time to see if they are revealed, but they did not do so. Also, when I was playing as Advent, the Telekinetic Push of the Halcyon Carrier didn't seem to work. I tried it multiple times with both strikecraft, but

Looks amazing, watched it twice. Did i correctly see a all three races cooperating in the final scene? I saw a Progenitor and a Halcyon, along with a TEC ship and a Vasari titan? I wonder what that means...hmmmm.........
