Trinity AI Not Doing Anything in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

Came back to the game after not playing for a while and I've noticed that some AI teams expand to 1-2 planets and then just sit there idle for the entire game. Was playing a FFA with 4 teams of 1 and about 30 minutes in I notice the Vasari team is just sitting there with their home planet and some asteroids surrounded by a bunch of unclaimed planets.
