Most of the TCA Capitalships seem to lose their shields completely at higher Experience-Levels. Considering that this also makes them lose their shield mitigation, this is a big disadvantage. I think you might wanna work on that ;) I'm also not sure if the hull regeneration research path is really worth it. Did you give Capitals enough base regeneration to make it a significant boost? I like most of the ideas from the original post although i disagree on the changes for the DE. I'm only playing vs. the AI and constantly having to rebuild my culture centers would be really annoying. Shutting them down for some time would be a far better solution imho. Only happened to me the first time i tried to play a random generated map. Manually saving the game didnt change anything. Game still was desynched after loading. Creating another game with a random map caused another desynch 5-10 minutes into the game.
