Were you using the skill correctly? The button is a toggle between on and off for the skill so I fail to see how "spamming it" would help the chance of it working.

Was light & dark blue Advent Loyalist? If they were, a bug with global unity is spreading culture everywhere.

Hmmm... I've been mashing this problem in my skull and I think I've got an idea. What if the DE had an effect on the allegiance of the planet that it hit? Lets say it reduced current planet allegiance by half. This would provide a noticeable economic effect on planets that have culture towers and allow the DE to be somewhat resisted, but not fully resisted. Two that I haven't seen on the forum. Both for 7.60 1. When I tell an allied AI to defend a star the game crashes. 2. The Global Unity research only effects planets owned when upgraded. No planets colonized after the research show any benefits at all.
