This new DLC can be very crippling to the AI. Both of my unfair teammates are still sitting at 2 planets 40 minutes in because militia's keep spawning. Other games they could have 4 or more by then, depending on what sort of planets there are. In this scenario I put moon, barren, and ice around all player capitals, which are the easiest to colonize. With this new DLC it's probably possibly for the AI to be stuck ad infinitum depending on difficulty, planet types, number of phase lane

lol.. wow I feel dumb. It's funny too because I did see something about this a couple days ago but didn't really pay it much mind. Well, I saw 'culture' and 'phase lane' and didn't read anything else. This definitely makes sense with the values I was seeing. Thank you.. again.

Coming back to this because it sort of relates and Goa here probably knows the answer... Zombie too [e digicons]:grin:[/e] I've checked the player, planet, and culture center files and the value I'm looking for that apparently changes how much base culture is produced varying by planet doesn't appear to be in any of these files. For me non-home terran planets produce (slow speed +10% from research) a whopping 21 culture, or 3x more then any other planet (unless you're

Right well thanks you two. I'll just go with the poor mans approach and use EnemyCultureRepelRate. Might even be more useful considering it's pretty hard to actually lose a planet to culture unless you're against advent loyalist [e digicons]:thumbsup:[/e]

Quite simply, does anybody know where upgradeBoolProperty are defined or listed? Not being an actual modder and not really knowing what a 'Bool' is it sounded like something that would be in a file like Gameplay.constants or GameEventData or any file that's txt from the get-go, but alas.. Whenever I scroll out on multiple stars the star icon's tend to have a different color then what the star color actually is. Most commonly the majority are blue. Same goes with galaxy (when there is no planets in the stars radius). Sometimes it's right, most of the time it isn't. Also it'll have the galaxy color right but not the star color and vice versa. Was curious if I could use a couple things from your mod. Mainly the little things like planet/star models, skyboxes ect.. Would probably only be for personal use but If I can actually manage to make a mod, I may release it in the future. Though that will take some time if I actually go through with it.
