Actually, I had this problem and managed to resolve it, I have an NVIDIA Geforce GT 55M card with an Intel HD Graphics 3000 series. I took the recommended steps (running in windowed mode etc) and they all failed. I found that going to the NVIDIA control panel, and changing the 'high performance processor' setting to 'integrated graphics' fixed the problem completely.
