Beta 3a bro... Vasari release this week. I call it.
I hope it's tomorrow.
Suicide mission for your titan? LOL. Worst idea I heard all day. This won't pay off in multiplayer.
WHEN?
Maybe he doesn't understand that Wail hits the gravity wells adjacent to the sacrificed world rather then the world it's self...perhaps he was attacking ana steroid adjacent to a terran/desert world?
yep, next to Terran with 280 population. It's not overpowered. 1) you need ice, desert, or terran to do a meaningful amount of damage. 2) those planets in 1) needed d
So your telling me in a multi game when yur 3 hours in ... that your going to rebuild your fleet? I was building novas.. but regardless, there is no reason i push of a button should kill an ENTIRE fleet in a gravity well. This ability was reserved for the TEC starbase... not a 7 civic labs ability. BTW, it was on an ASTEROID, i wasnt even on a Terran Mayal, for what you said, i do agree
Looks like a piece of bread.
When is Vasari coming out? The anticipation is killing me...
lol, when I play as TEC Rebel, I don't think I ever make alliance with pirates. I use pirates to feed my Titan to lvl.
Yeah--that's looking to be the simplest solution but it costs the corvettes effectiveness in several practical areas when you do it. Sigh.
Right now the corvettes are very cost effective, low supply required, and fast production in the early game. That's the main reason ppl are abusing them. People who say they are not OP are referring to the combat strength of the unit, rather than overall cost effectiveness
I see all those nice suggestions for change. However, I think the best solution is to raise the cost and increase build time from 14 to 17 sec. Make them 170 credits and 3 supply per unit. This will significantly reduce the corvette spam. This way you don't change combat mechanism, but it take longer and more expansive for corvette spam to be effective.
, but I think it's not high level or so I though. nearly all my 80 corvette gone when I failed to see they do any damage to titat, I order to attack all to titan at all cost, and all for nothing, bare any damage titan and still good heath, I playing hard level. So I don't think corvette is overpower, I don't know why other siad it's overpower but in my game corvette proved to me it's not overpower and waste my time building, rea
If you want to establish both money and a fleet fast, my advice would not be to head for tradeports right away. Especially as the loyalists. with only 2 civil labs, you can research culture and 2 techs that make it spread very fast. I would throw that down close to the homeworld and then focus on building your fleet. Be methodical by building a big fleet of cheap ships, and replacing losses with specific ships that counter the opponent&
The way I see them is they shouldn't do much damage on their own. it's the weapon effects that should make them effective. If they're doing the bulk of the damage in a fleet, yes they should be toned down. That's what a lot of people seem to be saying. However, you run a fine line because if all they do is the weapon effects and nothing else, they cant run interference on lone ships/scouts running rampant in your territory; which
