It has no offensive ability. And it doesn't really support your fleet. I was not so thrilled at the beginning, but now I think it just sucks. For the love of Vasari, even Ankylon has Disruption Matrix or Coronata has Unity Mass. And both ships also has pretty amazing supporting ability for your fleet.

So you are saying making phase jump like Phase Stabilizer Arrays or Enforced Loyalty. I haven't seen players rush fully upgraded starbase in the first place. Therefore the purposed change just makes the your SB do the exact same thing except now it's 1800 or 3600 bucks more expansive. I don't think it solve the balance issue fundamentally this way, IMHO. Also you are probably not only dealing with your opponent's starbase, more likely his fleet will cruise with the starbase. S

I am not sure if anyone has mentioned this already. I was thinking we should allow VR Starbase phase jump and keep research at lvl 5. However, VR starbase can only jump into your own (plus allied) planet/gravity well. You can still SB rush by building a SB in the enemy gravity well, but you can't build a SB in your own gravity well and then jump to the enemy planet. Or it can jump into enemy planet but it is disabled when the destination is not your own or allied planet. SB

... this post was meant as a complaint of why SB mobilization is stupid OP. If I send 3 fully upgraded SB into your planets. My intention is obviously to finish you off. Not giving you the chance to rebuild and lvl up your titan. And don't tell me you are gonna split up your fleet to deal with my SB simultaneously. It's impossible. plus your don't have to level the thing, upgrade is fast and with up to 16 strikecraft... with carriers and overseers. + captial ship like Rankulas Battleship providing support. Jesus....

Why would you bother to build Vasari Rebel titan? Granted I like that titan. But wait a sec, for the same resource you spent (research, factory and titan), you can build 2 close to fully upgraded Starbase. That is wayyyyyy more powerful than a lvl1 titan. And you can spam those, when you can only build one titan. Build 3 of them and spam overseers. I just don't see anything can stop you.

my solution would be to delay the appearance of Mobile Orku. Raise the research to tier 7 or 8 and enable mobilization to be last upgrade (meaning you won't have access to the mobilization upgrade unless you have finished the first 7 upgrade)

Corvettes are not as cost effective as before. Rebel and Loyalist isn't a big problem. In beta 2, most ppl choose rebel because they like a more offensive titan.
