Ive used steam for a good few years and now and what you explain as happened is normal. Its steam checking for an update after the game closes or, depending on the game, syncing it with addons etc. For instance, if you have skyrim on steam, if you exit out of that and quickly look at the library, it looks like steam is going to update skyrim when it is actually just checking for patches and syncing addons. But I too get the constant crashes in sins. I do enjoy playing it but
You guys continue to outdo yourselves with each attempt, or rather lack there of, at making your signature game, Sins of a Solar Empire, have a respectable multiplayer system. Not only have you failed to provide anything but a bare-bones system known notoriously as ICO, what actually is there is a complete piece of trash. On the last 15 multiplayer games I have played in the latest Rebellion beta patch, 14 ended in minidumps, desyncs, or both. Yo

Im in favour of the orkys only being able to jump to friendly or neutral gravity wells, this would mean it couldn't be used as a second titan but would allow it to play a useful role as support for allies.

If people are sucking all the planets dry then you have already lost the game, if you can't compete and control your own territory and allow them to walk in and suck it all up. And then if they are going around doing that unchecked then even if you stop them they are going to have am massive pool of resources.

Last time I went to get something fedex'd from america to england, where I reside, it said it would cost me $60 delivery just for the ride on a boat to england, suppose I wont be getting one then.

It annoys me when people start hating on steam. I have used steam for about 3 years now and the only time I had problems with it is when I got crappy internet and I couldn't connect so that steam could verify any of my games and so could launch anything, even manually. Other then that its always been fine for me. Now when you get a problem if you actually google it or search it on the steam forums its all there. You can make steam so you don't even kn

To be honest it the orkys shouldn't be nerfd but make phasing jumping cause to stations systems to be offlined for like a minute after finishing a phase jump. Or make it an ability you have to tech for and then upgrade on the orky.

I find its a nice first cap for expanding and taking out early fleets, the missiles are nice. But I think mainly I choose it because it looks awesome.

I see no point in banning something that is broken, if someone rolls VR and you don't want them too then tell them to reroll and if they wont kick them. But I have played VL and then VR and in my personal experience, apart from the mobile SB VR have, VL seemed more powerful to me, The ability to have 2 mili and civs labs on every capital and the ability to suck planets dry was very nice and hit opponents hard. I've done this offline and online (me and 4 friends who alway

Looking at actual naval corvettes they have apparently never been too popular, too small / weak to be involved in anything more then patrol and merchant escort. I think for corvettes to be balanced we need to fit a purpose on them, whether its dedicated anti cap or something else. Because atm until they are made more expensive then LF's they are going to be used on mass. Especially as they are so early in the tech tree. I mean [quote who="SithLordAJ" reply="1

Well, if you have a terran planet, its going to give the owner a good tax income and have a decent amount of logistic and tactical slots. If you strip the planet for its resources, apart from getting like 20k credits and like 10k metal and crystal, you make it a dead astroid, which will have no population, no logistic slots, cannot be developed nearly as much as a planet and will provide very little income if you take the time to capture it. Even setting up what little tactical slots are give

I think corvettes should have their damage nerf'd a little but should preform differently. In general corvettes are seen to be anti strike craft or anti capital, requiring frigate support and up to let them hit capitals with the same strength as just below a cruiser. When you have them made to be a counter against strike craft in games or sci fi lore then they usually don't have some dedicated anti fighter platform like a flak frigate. But you do in sins, so I think they shoul

Maybe you could do a faction specific collectors edition, though that may be too much, having 6 different style collector editions each with their own (favourite by vote) cap ship or titan. I have seen collector editions do it with 2-3 factions but 6 would be to much variation I think, having to make maybe 6 different style boxes and covers etc. Add to that a varying demand for a particular faction. Would be nice though if there was something like that, I would certainly get
Valkyness, I think you would have done even better with at least 2 (maybe overlapping) repair bays.
I will have to make sure to do that next time, I think the reason I didn't have that is because I didn't want to scrap a missile turret.

Maybe a flashy poster of all the factions in a fur ball with a purdy background, a usual custom of CE's is an art book, to show off the designs of the ships and characters, the pdf manual that comes in the game files maybe? softback and in color with maybe a little more lore. And a code that unlocks a set of unique flashy Symbols, profile pictures and maybe colour affects for the ICO online profile. In my opinion that sounds like a pretty solid collectors edition,

About 30 minutes ago I finished a 2v2v2v1 game as VL and I fully tech'd and upgraded (weapons 3/3, health 4/4 and enforced loyalty) SB and it was that along with 5 fully upgraded missile platforms and 4 fully upgraded hangers and a single repair bay, on a planet I had. The team of AR brought their full fleet down onto my defences, titans and all (level 5 titans), so much shit flying around and pretty lights filling my screen, 10 minutes later my defences were gone so I sucked the

Implying that all sci fi games use real physics, but as it has been theorised the centre of a galaxy could be a giant black hole, which was also a proposed way to travel in time by stephen hawking, if in fact the centre of a galaxy is a blackhole, but the fun with sci fi is you can make your own laws of physics without it being a theory, so say the centre of a galaxy WAS a blackhole and SOMETHING made it expand and that its happening rapidly but which doesn't exist irl
