[quote who="Timmaigh" reply="1" id="3156186"] You have to decide for yourself, what is most important for you. If you prefer shorter matches and the right balance is the most important thing, then obviously right choice for you is SC. If you on other hand dont mind longer games, actually like the fact, that the game has that "epic" dimension, where it lets you feel you are not actually just skirmishing small enemy taskforce for few mi

Not that Im trolling in anyway whatsoever as this is not intended as such but seriously...I love starcraft 2 and I love Sins. Right now Im at an inner conflict with myself on whether I should spend my free time playing Starcraft 2 or Sins because Starcraft is made for the purpose to be balanced and fair. From what I have been reading from all the posts on rebellion so far the game leaves much to be desired compared to starcraft. I mean I do get tired of the fast-paced build st
Really?! Cmon guys if you have been doing research you would know they are working on new voices for each race. Check websites or watch videos on youtube cmon people do your research...
As I stated in my previous thread I was suggesting new voiceover for each faction. While each faction most likely aint getting those voice overs Im pleased to announce they are changing them into something much cooler!! Im sure everyone who played rebellion beta already knew this but hey you cant discredit a guy for being happy about "one" change eh? Vasari need to sound godlike...
Not just about the vasari but about the whole game! Look it up on youtube and you will see! One of the developers of the game gives us a brief description about what each loyalist/rebel faction for each race is going to be like.
Have you watched the gamespot video about rebellion? Its how Vasari loyalists are going to be played which is really cool! You should go see it.
YES! Maybe now we will be getting alot of players coming in!
Im thinking about going either Vasari Loyalist or Advent rebel. Can anyone tell me which one is cooler and more fun to play? I might go Vasari because devouring planets sounds so freaking awesome! But advent rebels kind of remind me of the undead race from warcraft 3 which is also really cool...
Could u not wait until the unstoppable fleet has attacked one of your fortified worlds and then send your fleet in to beat them back maybe? I know starbases can take on a whole fleet by themselves.
Reserved!!
I know this is probably a dumb question but how is sins unbalanced? Not that I sense that it is there but I dont really know "how" it is unbalanced. Each side can pretty much build the same units and each side has unique traits and abilites that define them in the game. Someone give me a really long explaination to this please so that my mind can compute with the complexity of this annoying, headache driven question. :) Also if the developers manage to read this could be somethi
I liked playing sc2 but after every match my head is just killing me! I just had to quit and find something else to play.
yes :)
Ya know...I might do just that!! :))
With how cool and fun sins is who here believes that Sins stands right next to Starcraft 2? I do!!
Hey guys I thought I would post this to get everyone motivated for rebellion. I have been watching alot of videos on rebellion and its fabulous titan gameplay and I have been reading alot of comments about players who are in awe at this game and will be trying it out so I think we could look forward to a nice population increase when rebellion comes out. I bet $500 we get 1000+ players!! >:)
I have never heard of this game until I accidently came across it on youtube. Also alot of other people I know of have never heard of this game either but if it was advertised as everyone claims then man Im missing out on stuff...
Yeah I dont disagree that they all sound repetitive. But they atleast give you the feeling that your controlling this cool and badass unit and that your going to wreck someones face with it. That atleast is what I like to feel and it just doesnt feel like they are doing enough in that area. Also it just sounds...too repetitive for my liking. But that aint going to stop me from playing the game atleast. :)
I myself heard of this game not too long ago and just now started playing it and I love it. Its really fun, really easy and doesnt give you a painful headache after every match. Also I love how matches take a while to finish as that just gives me plenty to do. So why is it that this fabulous game has not been advertised enough? Can anyone clear this out for me and if theres anything a devoted fan like me could do to help...

Well for one I disagree that the duration of a match would be the issue. It can be just a one match tournament and thats it. A whole series could be based off of one match. I for one would be down for sitting back in my chair, eat some popcorn, and watch some guys go at it in sins for a long period of time. Also alot of tournaments last typically a couple of hours so I dont see why it cant be a tournament based game. Its got the replay options also! Thats all people need but I dont hardly see
Anyone not agree that Sins could use some better voice over? Every unit you click on its always the same voice from the same actor who tries to mimick an alien or psychic voice. It kind of bugs me so much that I just had to post this and ask everyones opinion. I love everything else about the game but get some better voiceover please! Here is what I would like to see the voiceover be. Voice suggestions: Tec- From Halo: Sergeant Johnson and masterchief. From Starcraft: Te
Ya know if you think about it you can make playable maps like on starcraft. Like when someone expands to a new mineral patch and in soase each planet is an expansion and they're are numerous phase paths from just one planet for each players fleet to travel to so that in a sense it feels like the fast-paced starcraft but not as such with your army being able to surprise attack any planet from numerous paths. Thats just my opinion anyway. :)
