What would be funny is if you hit a planet with ships in the gravity well, all the ships become invulnerable and disable weapons, gain a boost in speed, auto-set to explore, and have a built in culture-spread for Advent as they fly across the Galaxy wildly for a set period of time. Culture plus fleet scrambler. But don't take this too seriously, I didn't think it through at all and already see the issues.

Desync issues can be very hard to find, but remember this is still beta. If it's too frustrating, you could always take comfort in the fact that in one month it will be fun to play again. The game WILL be worked on for this entire time, both balance and bugs. Of course I could have sworn the desync issue was fixed, even I experienced my first desync today. It could be a new one since they introduced an entire 3rd of coding.
