That way u can fortify your front line regions to survive attacks instead of having to rienforce everything. the only ship i have a real problem with would be the Kodiak the design just seems kinda stupid even if its not made for combat the basic ship design makes no sense. Only thing that would use a design like that would be if it was made to land on planets (thus the flat bottom) but as it states that it was made as a ship to clear safe passage through dense, metal-rich asteroid fields that dosent seem to be the case. I never asked for the ships to be more gracefull. And infact i like the thought of some ships being converted trade ships. But then make them look like it (like the Corsev looks). My only problem with the TEC is that some of the ships have very uninspired designs (Kodiak,Sova carrier etc). Only thing i dont like about Ai Tec is them tossing out nukes left and right and me not being able to do shit about it. For example i have a tec loyalist AI on the other side of my solar system tossing out a Warhead every 5 or so min taking out 1 planet with each shot. And that planet is the furthest back so i have to pass through all of his planets to get to it. Im Advent and as far as i know (kinda new to the game) i cant do shit to defend against it or return the fa
