Lots for me to take in here, brilliant stuff though, it will really help me progress in this game. I will try and adapt as much as I can in my current game but I think it's going to take quite a few more games to get to know the units, formations and general micro managment that is required. I can't wait to put some some of these tactics into play. Thanks to everyone for their help, especially the essay of goodness from Joccaren :)

Hi I am new to the entire Sins franchise and just started playing with Rebellion. I have started playing a 2 v 2 map against Ai as I want to get better before I play Humans :) I have uploaded the first 4 parts of the battle and am pausing until I get some feedback on how best to proceed with my battle. Fact is some players use edge scrolling to play the game and if they have dual monitors then you can not do this at all. There is not one reason why being able to move your mouse out of the actual game and onto another monitor in full screen mode is logical. If you try to press your mouse button on your other monitos it minimises the game, this is why we have windowed mode which is fine. This is clearly a bug and needs fixing asap.

Ah ok :) Well at the moment am just getting to grips with what to build first and what the tech trees can do, I will try and get a few planets ASAP at the start.

This is causing me real problems, I can't believe the game was released with this glaring bug.

Thanks for them tips. I plan to play Tec Loyalists and turtle with slow expansion, can anyone offer me advice on how to start other than the advice already given? I have literally only played this game for about an hour :)

Am a total new player and feeling a bit overwhelmed even though I have watched a few lets plays and have been through all the tutorials. So I also ask what to focus on early?

Never played any of them but am very tempted to take the plunge with Rebellion, it does look good...hmm decisions. Is it complex to play as I am getting on a bit now and cba with complex gaming anymore :D
