Yes I found the tutorials very helpful. I think I am finished in my current game, but I will fight till the end. I can't research anymore because I can't build anymore labs in my one zone. Perhaps I should scuttle all the civic labs and build military ones so i can do more military research?

Hi guys. New player here. Great game so far. Enjoying my first game right now against a Normal Aggressive AI. I will probably lose as I am pushed back to my homeworld, but hope to hold out for a while as I have some good defences. My question is about the pirates. Is there a way to destroy them? In my current game me and my enemy spend more time fighting pirates then we do each other. Thank you for your time!
