Well, maybe I'm wrong, but it appears to me the game is already not balanced for all victory conditions/game options. Wouldn't hurt to allow it, at least for the majority of players who just like to comp stomp :]

Yeah, if you set behavior to random and you end up with a bunch of "aggressive" normal AIs, it can be markedly more difficult than when you end up with a bunch of economy AIs.

It wasn't meant to be a cheeky question. I'm just rather enjoying the game and I'm curious if the general sentiment amongst the veterans here is that it's not worth falling in love with. I'd rather not waste my time. So I'm only asking so I know personally whether to keep putting time into it.

It doesn't seem to be giving up at unreasonable times at least, there were two left out of 8 and I had the majority of the map. They often seem to give up as I'm heading towards their capital sector with my fleet, just after kotsura cannoning. Are they basically calling checkmate?

When the AI surrenders and you get a "military victory" as I just did at the end of a 7.5 hour long game.. If you select keep playing, will the AI keep doing its thing or is it dead? And if not, can I disable the AI surrender?

As a rule of thumb, I like to grab my second cap ship whenever I look up at my resources and notice I've been raking it in for a minute lol Assuming I already have a decently fleshed out fleet.
they will be more expensive to build depending on the level lost.
I think that's a good start as long as they also increase build time depending on the level lost.

Thank you for the thoughtful response. I get the impression that the Sins team has been pretty good about those sorts of balance inducing tweaks. At least from reading previous patch notes. Here's looking forward to more :] I would definitely be in favor of some frigates being more effective against titans (perhaps making the planetary assault frigates target titans effectively?) And I agree that titans should lose a

I'm new, honestly looking for understanding... The implication of the above statement is that you feel like the majority of the rest of the game is marginalized by titans. Do you actually believe this or is it a "heyyy budddy" way of giving your favorite game a noogie? In my interactions in the game versus AI I've never felt like anything was too far out of balance, each race being "asymetric" in its own way. I

"I think this would be much more work than it's worth for the devs and there are other far more pressing (balance and bugs and new maps) things that need attention already." Sorry I don't know how to forum quote properly, but I think that quote is where we disagree. I think it could be implemented rather simply without affecting game balance (IE through leveling small craft) Make it by last hit. Although giving a unit a +1 for&n

I would love some way to indicate that the first assault frigates, and any other unit, I built early in the game had in fact been there since early in the game. Showing the number of kills the unit has would be a satisfying indicator and would help foster the feeling of attachment we all have to that one little frigate that made it all 8 hours :] Note: I'm not asking for them to gain levels, just to indicate number of kills
