Looks like a decent game. I'll download it on my iPod when I get a chance.
P3CTankman
I like the mod but the Cylons need a bit of work. Also the DPS on the ships is on the insane side, it makes me wonder why the original races are in the download still.
's plastered everywhere except the README... There's a PDF included right next to the README that reads "How to Install and Activate..."
I suddenly feel stupid. :/
Indeed. Put the core last and you should be fine.
... Seems a bit un-intuitive. That should probably be in a README file. If it is in a README I can't find it.
THe folders I'm trying to activate are: Core Race (Cylons) Race (Colonials) For some reason if I install just the race files it changes the menus but doesn't add the races. It seems that the core file is crashing the game.
Sorry i'm sure you get what i'm about to say alot... Basically I can't install the mod because whenever I activate the core (Press Accept on the mod options) the game mini-dumps. Do I have to do something besides put it in the mod folder and activate it (I know about the game restart, but I haven't even gotten the game started with it yet.)?

If you are I'm not insane, I would never fight the Borg with only a 2:1 ratio. I was fighting against the Klingons. It was pretty much all light frigates with a few cruisers scattered here and there.
You may need to verify your game by way of Steam. Maybe something didn't install right.
You make it sound like it's a anti-piracy measure. Some studios install things like this to mess with pirates :P
Tried the mod and I like it. However the Borg are very OP (With the federation seemingly the only faction able to deal with them, also possibly on purpose) And the Breen are pushovers. I fought a battle as Breen against a fleet half my size and all my ships died in the first 30 seconds. Also the fleet point cost for their first elite ship is insane (Mainly because it's abilities are mostly useless). I would seriously consider toning it down a bit. <
Seems a bit silly don't you think? Then the starbases don't actually have phase drives, just guidance systems.
The DLC appeared and I bought it but I can't install the update for some reason...
It's point and shoot, how hard could it be... .:OH IT BURNS:. But are there really people that don't colonize the asteroids within the first 30 minutes? I don't play online but you have to do that, even against a AI...

The i7 already overclocks itself, not sure how much more OCing it could take before melting. But this is a problem, not as much for me as it is more of a RAM issue...
I agree that only broadside capitals would benefit, though it would be nice to see the capital ships circling the target and firing away. The Kol might benefit also, due to the auto-cannons on the side. Seems that's where most of the damage comes from.

I have played against a fair amount of AI's (Of all strength levels I might add) and I have never seen the AI use their starbase's ability to hold planets. Has anyone else experienced this?
