"Badges!? We don' need no stinkin' badges." Treasure of the Sierra Madre. It's an old western.

Yes, I know how you feel. I have done the same thing and watched my friends eyes glaze over like I was giving some ancient History lesson on timelines. But hey, each to their own, and my friends will remain my friends, regardless. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle
You know, all it takes to reach a goal is to set it high and give it all you got.
So...HOW did you find it, Styl?
I have always had real good performance and service from Western Digital's. Been thinking about getting two SATA 10,000 RPM WD's.
I have been online for over two years now doing "my thing" and am not loved for it, yet I found that this site is the only one where I can hang out and truly enjoy "Fellowship" with honest respectable people for which I am grateful. This site is now a "Touchstone of Refuge" where I can return to after my less than desirious encounters elsewhere on the net that allows me to normalize with real people of the good kind. To give in and lose this site over a few mis-guided embecil
..and whatever you do, do not place your order using cubic inches, unless you want to hear laughter from five counties away.
Put it this way...You made the right choice.
I too have spent a lot of time there, but I must warn you, I picked up a nasty Russian Virus from one of those places listed. Fortunately, it was nuked before it delivered.
Rhode Island winter? First thing to do is, buy everyone dark glasses so they don't go blind when you step out into the sun.
I have a 64MB ATI 7500. The fan began making noise so I took the fan out, peeled the rubber shield back and then reset it again, but tighter. It seems the shield has a plasic bearing nubbin holding the fan in position. When the rubber shield gets hot, it begins to sag or stretch allowing the fan blade to drop causing the noise. After this procedure, the fan ran quietly. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/ima
I don't know, after almost 2 years, I can still say, "It's all good."
Go into Configuration Options and in the preference section - Less-Used Options and turn off "Warn on load of newer theme".
For a dollar a day, I can feed, clothe and educate two children somewhere in the world.
I was wondering the same....
Fresh out of Army AIT at Ft. Knox, KY, I had to hitchhike the last 200 miles home as my "ride" decided to take another route so as a result some pervert picked me up and in 50 miles decided I had to "pay" for the lift as he began to grope my leg. Military reflexes shoved my elbow into his jaw and I heard a loud pop. He quickly pulled over and before things got real ugly, I grabbed my gear and bolted. But then some nice old couple picked me up and took me within 10 miles of my destinatio
You may find yourself scattered across half the Continent?
So, c242, what's the timeline on the update?
Yes indeed, thanks Niel, well done, works great for me.
That would be nice, I have always liked Micron 2.
An unsecured machine is an outrage, as it makes Internet usage for the rest of us more difficult. Refusing to secure a machine is akin to being a lowlife hacker, as you become a tool for them.

DavidK...was wondering if you are going to update Doreens TV? I still use it from time to time.
Doesn't seem to matter how I set it now, it hangs I.E. after running for several days. Shutting off WinFX altogether, problem dissapears. I am using XP Home.
I seem to have noticed that the problem only occurs when I set WinFX 2.2 to load at startup, but this does not happen everytime. Try it both ways, manually and automatically and see what happens.
