Yea, it looks like those ones are popular, however sometimes random will screw you pretty bad: one time I did a 2v2 on a 6 player map and my ally ended up having only 1 exit to his empire: the pirate base ! That's pretty bad, but I guess it's very rare.

Hi all, I just came back from a 2v2 on a random 6 player map where my ally was stuck behind a pirate base (no other exit !) So that made me think: what do you think are the best maps for each of those category and why do you think that ? 1v1: 2v2: random 4 player map or random 6 player map ? or a specific non-random map ? 3v3 4v4 5v5
Carriers seem to be very important ! Should I get more of them ? Like more than 10% of the composition I said in my original post ?
Hi all, I play Sins: Rebellion as a Vasari Rebel and I have some questions related to fleet composition: 1) What fleet composition should I aim for in the late game ? Maybe something like: 30% Enforcers (heavy cruiser) 20% Kansaks (LRF with an upgrade to do AoE phase missile dmg) 20% Sentinels (AA frigate, phase missile dmg) 10% Subverters (to boost phase missile dmg and disabled ennemy ships) 10% carriers <
How do I counter the Advent Rebel’s Wail of the sacrified as a Vasari Rebel ? How do I minimize the damage done by this ability ? Split my fleet in 2 groups ? How does it work exactly ? What's Wail's range: only the current planet or the current planet + all the other planets ? What's Wail's Area of effect ? (how big is it) Can the AR target Wail on a specific spot ? Once he launches Wail, how much time do I have ? What war
@ Ekko_Tek : ah ok, it's true that's more convenient to have many frigate factories on the same planet. Thanks for the Kostura strategy: I'll try that late game with 2 Kostura canons ! @ Greg30007 : thanks for the details about frigate factory
@GoaFan77 : I think you’re right: it seems better to group buildings (without autoplace) so that I can defend them: it’s just that on my few first games, I felt overwhelmed, but now it's ok: I just defeated the hard computer on 2-3 times ! @Greg30007 : wow ! I didn’t know 3 frigates factory on the same planet is better than 3 planets with 1 frigate factory each! I definitely have to learn when to retreat, but it’s hard as I have difficulty evaluat
@ SageWon : Why is TEC the easiest race to learn ? How do I autoplace buildings? Is there a way to autoplace logistic building, but not tactical buildings? @ ZombiesRus5 : thanks for the light you added to the colonizing choices ! After a few game
@ GoaFan77 : thanks, great post ! I did win vs the normal computer in 1v1 ! I guess the next step is to go normal 2v2, then normal 3v3 and go up before I go Hard ? Because everybody seems to play team games so I guess I have to practice 4v4 and such. Some new questions: What are the big difference between 1v1 and team games ? (if possible applied to my Vasari Re
The first thing I do notice is the incredible community support! Very nice ! 1) Vasari Rebels seem good (according to Joccaren and Seleuceia) so I’m going to switch for them. Flying Orkulus Star Base seems like a good advantage. The Phase stabilizer seems to help the mobility a lot. I don’t think I would like exploding planets with Strip to the core of the Vasari Loyalists. 2) Colonizing capital ship seems to be a very good start, so I’ll go with the Jarrasul
Hi all, I am a good Starcraft 2 player (used to be in the top 1% of players worldwide before I started playing Diablo 3) and I also played SC1, Star Wars Rebellion and Rise of Nations, but Sins Rebellion is my first Sins game. I have some questions and topics I'd like to discuss with you guys: 1) I picked TEC loyalist as the first race I’d try, although I am opened to suggestions if something else seems better, I heard this race is good for doing an economic
