They look gorgeous and play a large role in everything that goes on in the game. Albeit without a supporting fleet and maybe even the Titan (rebellion games), you may not win the entire game. I do not know if other people have noticed this problem, but to me it seems that the Trade Alliance research that increases the Squadron capacity in the Hangar Defenses doesn't work. I researched all three stages and my hangars still only had 4 squads each. Am I just misunderstanding this and it only increases the number of craft (though I didn't notice this change either). In all honesty, I would think the best way to better the Ankylon would be to give it some sort of taunt. Like the one Advent capital ship (cant remember its name right now). The thing is there to take a massive beating, but as everyone keeps stating, no one targets it. They just ignore it until the fleet and the planet is gone and then move on to kill it or chase it to the next planet and repeat the process.
