It happens in Overwatch, BFV and BF4 in my experience. I do run all games in full-screen mode and use g-sync in conjunction with v-sync.. if that matters. It doesn't seem to happen when running YouTube in full-screen or VLC. I don't typically use the aforementioned keyboard shortcuts in video playback and only while gaming, however.

Hi, I am having an issue when I minimize a game that is in full-screen mode. When I press the Windows key, Alt+Esc or anything that would cause the game to minimize the taskbar color goes gray and it overrides any visual settings that I have customized in Start11. I have to go into the settings and change a taskbar appearance setting to get it to revert back. I never experienced this before in Windows 10 using Start10. I see what you are saying... this option is probably not ideal or necessary for most. The aforementioned programs are the only ones to prevent my system from shutting down, even before I started using the -f argument. I only had to start using it in Windows 8; in Windows 7 they closed fine at shut down. When you shut down, restart, or sign out of your system everything is "forcibly" terminated. This simply closes apps that might prevent Windows from shutting down properly. Basically, any program that fails to close properly can throw out an "Application Error" dialog box at shutdown and hang up the system unless you close the dialog box or click "Shutdown Anyway" on the screen.
