SoaSE:Trinity is the original version with the 2 expansion packs. So yes, Rebellion is Trinity + more.

Hi Everyone, I'm a returning player, I had Sins when it first came out but I lost my copy when I moved from the UK to Greece. Was browsing the Steam sale and saw that Rebellion was there and decided to purchase the new version after reading some of the good reviews and patch notes. Still currently downloading and looking forward to re-learning the game again.
