Right - found the problem. I had auto group when control key pressed... To activate clipdiary requires ctrl-d (hence groupy tries to group the window) doh! Thanks for your help

Well - I could do that - however, doesn't that remove most of the point of Groupy - to automatically group my apps in tabs! Oddly - that doesn't work either - sporadically clipdiary still opens in a tab in explorer!
Thanks Basj I have already Excluded it from grouping - still it groups in every single app! Windows 11 - 21H2 - build 22000-.613 Groupy V 1.5 In explorer... When I open clipdiary with ctrl-D <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/50/90/5090399/30e71e99-131d-4119-84b9-c96c817fadae.png"
Hi Folks I'm using clipdiary and, even when set to not group, it groups in the currently open app. Sometimes I can't find the open window or close it again - very frustrating. I imagine the issue is that the app's class isn't well defined or something like that. Anything I can do about it? Anyone else any experience of this issue. Thanks, Jai
Thanks - I'm on windows 11 I'm finding it hard to replicate - seems to happen when I use the middle button to open a new tab from Quick Access. Very intermittent. If I can replicate consistently - I'll send you a vid! Thanks
When your have Only show taskbar button for active window in a group in file explorer (not tested for others) closing the first tab minimises file explorer - rather than moving to the next available tab (as expected) Thanks
Yes - I totally agree - this is annoying as the last thing I want when opening a new tab is to go to where I already was! Workaround by pressing Windows-E helps but.... Also, great idea to use autohotkey - and again but...
