Running Windows 11 Home build 26100.4946 on an Alienware m17 R3. Was fine until about a week ago and then suddenly the animated desktop is just static. Not tied to any update that I am aware of. Have tried reapplying and even uninstalled/reinstalled Deskscapes. It shows the animation within Deskscapes, but not when applied.
It worked fine until I updated Windows this morning...now I have to buy a new version?
Windows just updated. Winver reports Windows 11 24H2 os build 26100.4061. The computer itself is an Alienware m17 R3. After the update my animated desktop was no longer animated, just still. I uninstalled and re-downloaded/re-installed Deskscapes 10. While the app shows the animated desktop in the preview window, my actual desktop is just a still image. I've tried several animated desktops and they all do the same.
