Just a data point, may/may not be related: I've had File Explorer drag/drop issues like this for years across multiple Windows releases. Every now and then (once a month?), Windows will get into a state where the drag operation is immediately cancelled. You only see your icon drag for a few milliseconds then drop back to its original position. A reboot should clear that up but it is infuriating. I sympathize. Curiously here though, it's persisting across reboot. So maybe unrelated to

Bug: Clicking Start11 settings > Taskbar > Adjust taskbar transparency > Settings resets the default value (85%) to (50%). (You may need to Reset your custom value beforehand to reproduce.)
Nit/Enhancement: Navigate to Windows settings > Accessibility > Visual Effects > and set Animation effects to off. Start11 doesn't respect SPI_GETCLIENTAREAANIMATION (animation effects) so continues to animate various UI elements/surfaces.
Crash: Clicking the back button in Settings when it's grayed out.
Possible spoilers have been blacked out. 1. Navigate to Epsilon Llvoren II and land 2. Explore the Ruins on the surface and let the cut-scene play out 3. If you do this correctly, you should start hearing shooting from a critter . Because you cannot control the lande
Helpful tip: You can single click on the speech UI while they speak to skip through it very quickly.
1. Navigate to Delta Corpus 2. Set up auto-pilot to Alpha Corpus 3. Sit back and wait. When ship enters Hyperspace (tm), note ship stops and doesn't move.
When interacting with The Measured , there are a few typos in the subtitle text: 1. " Please fill out Form LLT643-H Apology For Inpromper Departure [...] " 2. " As the Scryve crave stability and</
1. Start a battle with another ship 2. Choose capital ship with default crew compliment (100) 3. Fly over a crew bonus power-up during battle (green) I'm still studying this; may require that you not have a full compliment of crew (e.g. 50/100).
1. Take your ship into Hyperspace (tm) 2. Enter battle with another ship 3. After battle is complete, open the menus and notice game is still playing in the background leaving your ship vulnerable to attack. 4. Close menu and re-open, note game pauses now
Add multiple instances of Visual Studio to a group and note the Groupy titlebar borders don't align properly. Example image: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DOsj-emU8AABQbP.jpg:large
It's a registry value that ships with Windows, it being the wrong type is exceptional so we throw an exception. Nothing to fix on our (EarTrumpet) end [e digicons]:D[/e] thanks for the fix though. I'll update our bug report with this new info.
I don't know about that "alert" sound, but I'm hella loving the music right at the end. It's so hyperspace. It just registers "star control" immediately.
The rest of that song is even better!
So I just watched the gameplay tease @ http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2016/10/a-first-look-at-star-control-origins-gameplay-prequel-due-for-release-in-2h17/?comments=1 and ask that you swap out that alert sound near the end. I feel like that particular alert sound is used all over the place (tv/movies/games) -- probably part of some stock royalty-f

Picking a singular memory to present is super difficult but my knee jerk reaction was... the Melnorme's bridge turning purple.
I primarily lurk but wanted to throw in my two cents lest the game go in some preventable direction. re: classic lore exclusion (challenge #1) - Seems OK to me, understandably may require a little re-jiggering of history to launch a separate timeline. I'm not interested in replacing or extending my SC1/2/3 memories with this new game. (I'm not aware of a sequel for a title that came out 10+ years after the original and was considered successful, so the folks clamoring for a SC

Repro: 1. Click available buildings button 2. Click it again, note menu disappears then re-appears 3. Click it few more times and things will normalize 4. ... until you click another tile and repeat at step 1.
Just noticed the grammar on the Changelog link is iffy too: "Display of changes to the game"
