Game doesn't Start in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Basically what the title says when i start the game from steam or directly from the exe nothing happens. On the debug only this appears: Debug Message: Version v2.04 Twilight of the Arnor last updated on: Tue Nov 1 11:59:59 2011 Debug Message: Checking DX Version.
