Thanks, deleting the folder did the trick!

Additional info: Went onto mod.io and unsubscribed from every mod I had subscribed, even ones that weren't active for this. Went onto Steam and verified files. Still the same problem.
I added and activated the mods I wanted to use, and when I got back to the main screen the top quarter is blocked by a blue bar, I can't access anything to start the game, go turn the mods off or anything.
I like the way Sins of a Solar Empire makes the starbase useful... You can build a remote government upgrade that makes it impossible to claim the planet until the starbase is dealt with. They can go to the planet and bomb it into oblivion, but it won't flip until the starbase is gone. And yep, was just looking for a Narn fleet. I like the Tothk ships as well, in fact used some of their civilian ships to fill out my Narn Regime fleet.
Thanks, pity you dropped them as an official set, they looked really awesome in the Ronar video. Time to build a fleet!
Popped into a save and made a Commonwealth, no crash. So, how was it I use the Narn ships again? ;)
The Tothk replaced the Ronar race. As well as their Shipset which is not THK. You will find the Ronar ship designs still available, so you could easily use them to build a properly "Narn" set. The Tothk ships are still very Narn like, but enjoy a bit of their own style to make them more fitting with the GRM universe.
How would I access the Ronar models? They don't show in the ship style drop-down when mak
Heya, got a little wierdness going on. Installed 8.1b and the Intrigue patch, all of your races and ships are there except the Narn.. um, Ronar. Were they left out for some reason?
Great, thanks again :)
Quick install question, if I am using Xtra and decide to try out Children of the Storm, can I just install it, or does Xtra need to overwrite some CoS files to make it compatible?
You were right, when I installed on my new computer I managed to skip that step :) Beer now shows properly.
That explains it, thanks. I thought it might be something like that, just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something. :)
Further question on henchmen: Got the tree changed and they show up in the research, however once researched I can build the prebuilt ones, but do not get a henchman option in the designer. I noticed that on Lord Relias it shows Train Henchmen under his traits and nothing under Altar for henchmen. On mine, I have nothing on my sovereign, but show Henchmen in my faction's strengths. Would that be the reason I can build the existing ones but not design them? Further, is there
Ok, that got it, thanks. :) When I saw the warning, I thought it was just to not use that faction. BTW, I just noticed that when you go to build the apothecary, the tooltip says it costs -10 Unknown.
Question on Henchmen, can you give them to anyone other than Altarian Blood? Tried assigning the Altarian tech tree to a Wraith blood custom race and took the Henchmen perk, but the Henchmen tech never showed up to research.
Quick tech tree question, you have a link to the tech tree in the User Guide, but that's a single tree, is there somewhere we can see the various races tech trees so when we assign one to a custom faction we know what they are and aren't going to be able to research?
That explains it. Off to make a new Sov then :)
Oh, and also.. what the heck does the Channeler Clock talent actually do?
I think Arcane Aegis may not be working, was trying a sovereign with it and I've been hit by both a group of mages base staff ranged attack and some sort of earthquake effect, not sure what it was. I've seen "Immune" messages for blinds, but the damage kind of makes it not worth 3 points from my outlook. Oh, and just noticed the new release, so this is about the previous version, dunno if it was changed in the new one.
The "detached spirit" choice is supposed to spawn a location on a swamp tile; if there's no swamp tile within reach, then it doesn't spawn. I believe davrovana is aware of the issue, but you can report it in his Path of the Paladin thread, probably w
Hey there, using XtraDeconstruct and ran into a bit of a problem. Primal_Savage suggested letting you know about it. It's the paladin mount quest, when I choose the last option "I am a detached spirit" it doesn't always spawn the new location to get your mount. He thought you might know about it already, but wanted to be sure. Thanks.
Hey there, ran into a little problem with the Paladin. I was casting bonded mount and then reloading after going into the quest area to gain my mount just to see what the different answers got you. The last one, "I am a detached spirit" isn't putting the spot to go into, checked 3 times to be sure, also moved to a more open area instead of right outside my city to make sure that wasn't an issue. Should that answer put a spot near you on the map like the others?
Quoting stevemorasch, reply 1489 Thanks! That makes sense. The parenthetical "(Deactivation)" confused me, but it makes sense that step would be included in the installation. I will make sure to read the rest of the sections you mentioned before installing.<
Quick question.. While I have my workaround, it's a bit of a pain, so wanted to know how hard it would be to pull just 2 features of Xtra and just use them with the base game. I'd like to see if I can run the XP for heroes in cities and the improved resources (food, production, essence) for tiles as yours tend to add up to a higher number than base.
Ok, got a save that keeps freezing up a few turns later, I've tried building different things, not building, leaving my army outside the city, moving it back in, still freezes up. What's the easiest way to get the save to you?
