If you don't see the starbase in time, then you have no time to destroy it and even if you do, you'll lose half your fleet. Basically, it's game over already and you have hardly even started the game.
Nobody is debating that point. I think the issue here is that you need to keep an eye on what is going on at various worlds. If you at least have a han
Yep that mechanic is just to imbalanced i mean right of the start the guy just builds a freaken starbase at the edge of my capital planet which is bullshit so while my fleet is fight to get a planet my capital is getting fucked by a starbase built in couple of seconds i regret buying this game it seemed pretty fun at the beginning but multiplayer is just big mess from boring clusterfuck to imbalanced race advantage no fun at all.
I got one. - The ability to sell/give military hardware to other players the same way I would resources/credits.
While you don't have to micro-manage early, it becomes more critical late in the game as abilities and fleet sizes(imagine having 200+ ships on each side in the same gravity well) ramp up (especially with the titans) and you have to be more creative with how you destroy ships. A problem with the UI is that when you start getting in to massive battles, it becomes difficult to issue bulk orders to groups to destroy other groups of a certain type of ship. Contrary to what t

Let me guess, running it through steam? If so I had a similar issue and I solved it by disabling the steam in-game community support. 1. Locate Sins: rebellion in your library 2. Right click on it, select "properties" 3. Uncheck "enable steam community in-game" 4. Click close Give this a shot and write back, I'm very curious to see if your issue is the same as mine.
I actually nuked everything where the settings were stored to reset it to its defaults, and performed a completely clean installation of the game. It now defaults to the highest non-windowed resolution (which is desirable) but the game still crashes on a resolution change. Given that this is a completely clean installation with no mods at all, I'm thinking this is some kind of game related bug.
Title says it all. Game starts fine, but in 1024x768. Any attempted change in resolution crashes the game. This is the steam version, and I recently purchased the new DLC pack. I was not having this issue prior. Using the GeForce GTX 285 with the 320.18 drivers on a core i7 920 with 12gb of ram running windows 8. Couldn't figure out how to attach the minidump, so I have it hosted here: <a href="http://boxedtool.com/Sins-Rebellion%20v1.5-2013
