Stardock doesn't own the rights of PixOS, Stardock and Pixtudio are sharing rights on Universe Metal and Logika only, which means Stardock and Pixtudio is allowed to sell the suites and their own update/modifications at the time the contract was signed. So technically you could see Universe Metal update completely different from Stardock and Pixtudio.

a lot of the windowblinds skins created back then were a lot less work. Also, back then, the text color limitation wasn't such a big deal because you could do pretty much anything without a problem. Now Vista and Windows 7 have hard coded colors, IE and Firefox have too. It makes it very hard to use a very dark button now, just simply because in many case, the text will remain black. haha thanks K10w3 RedneckDude, the skin is for WindowBlinds 7, as for the zip problem, I could not find a way to fix this, it only happends with Explorer, and if I do force the WBA extention it will install it instead of asking to save, I thought people would not like that. just rename the zip extention to wba and it should work :)

Skins are harder to to update for the new OS, because the windows are much different, buttons much larger in the taskar and other issues. It takes a good amount of tweaking to make it look right for the newer OS. hehe sorry I don't work for stardock anymore, can't help you with Camouflage problem But, if you are talking about the wallpaper, it's because Skinstudio doesn't delete successfully the wallpaper= line Remove Wallpaper=whatever filename.jpg in the uis file and save, reaply, it should fix it.
