First of all I would like to say that I am EXTREMELY excited to hear that a new Star Control is under development. I have been a HUGE fan of the series ever since I picked up SC2 on 3D0. With that being said, I agree with an earlier post that we shouldn't muddle with the alien races that were in SC2. However, I do think it would be very interesting to explore the back stories.
