perhaps if the Capital Carrier was allowed to host more SC they wouldn't need an unfair change in build time. I mean a cap carrier is much larger than SC cruiser.

yes I have found that a small/meduim fleet with ~10 TEC anti structure ships can eliminate a fully upgraded vasari starbase with ease (in beta 2.5 with full tactical support from the planet). Beta 3 I have too many minidumps to get to mid game. Vasari SB should see Anti structure ships as a more serious threat than they do now. Has anyone else seen this happen? Maybe the 30% damage upgrade helps balance this.

The scouts mine clearing doesn't work nearly as fast as micro-managing. When the scout gets close enough to a mine the fleet sees it without using the ability. The mine simply has to be within the range of detection (that purple circle around the ship). This appears to be some sort of mine detection aura instead of an ability that uses antimatter. I find with microing the scout I can clear mine fields very fast. Not sure if this was intended but the scout should try to reveal as many mines as

We should be careful making smart mines that can identify enemies and disarm remotely. I would think mines are there to slow or damage all ships passing through, as mines should not accept anyones word that they are friendly or not. If a mine can accept commands then anyone can command it. surely they have hackers in the future :P Now I have a quad core cpu which should be enough to handle mine spamming. Even overclocked to 3.6GHz mines slow my rig to a crawl. I know its still

1. All races star bases move disagree. Vasari SB feels strange chasing down scout ships. I would have to vote for range on this one, or some sort of ability that forces the enemy fleet into close range. the latter might be tricky to implement. 2. Phase jump inhibitor built into star base. What percent should it be? Keep in mind phase jump inhibitors for planets are usually 700% disagree. jump inhibitors are good because they can be targetted separately.<
