Multitasking in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

So I just bought sins of a solar empire and I love it, but I find the multitasking to be a bit challenging for me (keeping tack of upgrades for planets and ships and whatnot). Do you have any tips on how to keep track of everything when playing? Thanks!
