OK...will do but will be delayed testing due to a very busy period the next 8 days...but since I recently did a 'clean install upgrade' of my 'backup' machine machine to Win 11, this weekend should have time to 1st see if I encounter the same conflict on that clean system...once I have that ;backup' machine fully setup, I'll tinker with my primary machine that has the symptoms I described...

Ok I've made a short 8mb video showing what occurs on my machine...if google photos does not play in HD by default, you can select it via the gear icon while the video plays... https://photos.app.goo.gl/koH7YK6aZxWrMpzH9
Thanks! :-) Will try that...however I realized the following after I posted above: I just checked again & even without Start11 installed, ObjectDock alone is causing the main desktop taskbar to reliably/controllably vanish as I described in my 1st post... I suspect it may be associated with the Windows update around Jan 15 since ObjectDock3 has been working just fine with the windows 11 taskbar (and Start11) until the past couple of weeks when Start11 updated & W
running ObjectDockv3 'vanishes' = not there (i.e. not hidden) the Start11 task bar on the Main Display...secondary displays still show the taskbar. The Start 11 taskbar on the Main display returns immediately as soon as I "quit" from the Object Dock right click menu...easy to replicate...I can launch & quit ObjectDock repeatedly and the same behavior occurs... 'Hiding' the dock does not resolve the issue, only 'quitting' to exit the whole ObjectDockv3 program. <
Hi Neil, thanks for the heads up...ugh...guess now I know that I do like using Groupy...lol...so far Canary has definitely stopped grouping for me in all builds after 3534...
fyi...Groupy 1.17 working ok again with Canary 70.0.3534.0...looks like 3530 had disrupted Groupy in some way...
Any of you happen to see trouble with this current version of Canary 70.0.3530.0 ? Groupy 1.17 was making nice groups in Canary for me until about a week ago then now I can not make Canary group at all... no crash issue, Canary just behaves like it is excluded in some way... regular chrome and other applications are still grouping just fine on the same machine (windows 10 current version on the 'slow = business' update channel)... <div class="settings-box two-line
Have you tried changing the order you use put the various browsers into the group? For example, in my environment IE will not add to a Chrome & Firefox group, but if I group IE first then I can add multiple chrome windows in etc... so far I can not replicate the exact issue you indicate (which surprised me since my environment usual provokes every challenge/issue/bug SD ever encounters ;-) however I do also see strange behavior, for example I can only get 2 Opera win
@ kavehvarjavand I would like to know which operating system you are using. Do you use a multiple monitor environment? &, If windows 10...multiple virtual desktops? What happens
WindowFX momentum dragging does work with Groupy 1.1 release. However, the Groupy windows still shrink when they move off the top of screen, for example when using 2 different monitor dimensions & WindowFX momentum dragging... or with just one monitor tools like the following to move windows relative to the visible screen area: AltDrag: https://stefansundin.github.io/altdrag/ or GiMeSpace Desktop Extender CTRL-ALT desktop scrolling: http://www.gimespace.c
Neil is serious: REBOOT after the uninstall. I was already at 10.0.7 via WB update several weeks ago before the windows update I finally installed this AM & I still ran into this issue. and since I always run into issues with WB and windows updates, I usually have a good strategy for this (see below)... I verified a successful windows update install by logging into my 'minimal mod' admin account and then found this issue when I logged into my 'all mods
I also look forward to how this resolves. Decor8 1.08 also destabilizes the windows 8.1 user environment on my Dell precision...extra long login (with none of the usual screen flicker) followed by a black/blank login with no ability to launch programs user environment...use ctrl-alt-del to sign out. Re-imaged my system 3 times to state before installing decor8 to see if it was a particular setting in decor8 but always ended up with instability eve
Update to my post above: below is a link to much nicer 1080p screen capture video of large windows gliding using WindowFX momentum dragging on the large extended desktop created by GiMeSpace desktop extender: http://youtu.be/oe186qEOd3M I do hope that it is an easy change to add an option to disable the "70% off screen limit" as I would very much like to be able to toss windows beyond the visible screen rather than needing to always "c
I also look forward to the Wednesday update indicated by Neil :-) I encountered the same problem as LaytonQ...reported it last night as ticket#: QCA-460-73497 Thanks
After installing WindowBlinds, occasionally, when I do something that requires UAC to open a window to request permission, my machine no longer can sign out, shutdown, or restart, and no response to CTRL-ALT-DEL. Even "shutdown /s /f" from an administrative cmd will not shutdown the computer. Programs continue to run normally... This occurs both in my admin account where only service level programs run as well as my regular user account. This issue just occurr
WindowFX function request: I sometimes use GiMeSpace desktop extender with the Stardock windows customization software: http://gimespace.com/gms3d.html and I would like to be able to remove the 70% off screen limit to WindowFX momentum dragging
