Posted this before... maybe one of you can clarify: The game is setup where teams aren't locked. With an Allied Victory set to 2, can you only win if you have one other ally maximum ? For an allied victory of 3, two other allies maximum ? What if I wanted to ally with yet another faction? Would the game prohibit me from doing so? =g

I'm as excited about any of you re: the new Diplomacy expansion, but I am also concearned that it will create three parallel versions of the multiplayer game and none of them will be able to talk to each other, creating a bigger rift in the MP scene than the binary "Entrenchment/no Entrenchment" reality of now, which I think is tolerable. I like how every multiplayer game I play feels like a freely evolving personal story.
