In the edit I added that it tells me that I've the latest version. Thanks to your hint I ignored that, downloaded the installer from the website again, installed it again, and now it works. Thanks.

I have WindowBlinds on Windows 11 in this Version: 11.02 (017 x64 - Windows 11 Edition) - 64 bit OS. After a Windows 11 Update the explorer doesn't work anymore. The right side of it is almost completely black, and no folder content is shown, never, until I unload WindowBlinds. See this screenshot here, where I used red rectangles to anonymize it: Is there a fix
May I ask if the ping system has proven ineffective?
Sorry, we didn't know the ping feature. Although we played the tutorial? But that was long ago. Or isn't it part of any tutorial? I will keep that in mind and try it in our next game. Thanks.
If you play in Multiplayer you often need to tell your partners where they have to go. Mostly if you need help but also if there's a nice planet for them, an enemy fleet is on the way, etc. If you play on big maps with 50+ planets this becomes quickly really annoying, because it's not that easy to tell other people where something is. Especially when everyone can rotate the galaxy view in any direction (then there is no up/down, left/right) and there is no search function for planets.
We had this in Stellaris, and it was always great fun, and really exciting at the end. Stellaris is in that way really similar to Sins of a Solar Empire 2. I want this game to be its own thing, but that , I would really love it in this game.
I play often coop with my friends against the AI. The start can be hard, if you start right next to a strong AI you may lose, before any of your friends can come to the rescue. But if you survive the start and early midgame you've almost always won. Then winning is only a formality, and not actually a challenge anymore. If you make the AI stronger you almost always die in the early game. Nevertheless it's still balanced enough to be fun till the late midgame before it becomes
I just want to suggest to give the strategic, but not completely repetitive, research system a try. When I first played Stellaris I just loathed the almost random research system. After I got used to it I learned two things: I still loathed the almost complete randomness of the research. It wasn't really strategic. I completely loved the surprise part of the research. That made the game sessions so much more entertaining, unique and fun. To the develop
Hi Stardock, I think it's boring to make the research completely linear again. So everyone applies their cookie-cutter research path again, and it's again a pretty linear path in every game. Sure, you may have to adjust your strategy fitting to the current enemy, but in general it's all pretty obvious and without any interesting discoveries. I would love it so much more if you have more like general directions you give, like in Ship-Research, the next option you can research comes up
