Great game ... but I am tired of it for now, so I would like to uninstall it for a little while. Only problem is that it DOESN'T appear in the Add/Remove programs list - so how the hell do I uninstall it? Any help would be appreciated PS - I bought it from the original stardock when it came out Dano

I understand what you are saying ... but isn't it a coin toss whether your diplomacy efforts will work? I mean if it gives you three missions in a row that you can't actually do - all your efforts go up in flames, no? Dan
Love the game! And I didn't believe the complainers about all the AI's ganging up on you - Well it pretty much is a non stop occurrence now. I thought I could power past them and was building up a nice little armada of maxed out tech ships. Then two empires warp in ... one bringing in about 40 ships and the other a cloud of ships including 10 capital ships!!!! This is a large map with 8 AIs I think - Oh yeah ... and this is on EASY! Fricken EASY!&nbs
Hi There, Does anyone know where I would go to edit Diplomacy missions? Stuff like Time Limit and Penalties for failure I would like to change. Thanks! Dan
Hopefully they will add a slower mode as well - I am playing a large game and have almost all the tech and I haven't even left the first star Dan
Hi There, I can't figure out something about the Black Market. I know you can buy and sell metals there but there are two more buttons that I have no idea what they do - something about altering the price. Does anyone know what they do? Dan
Hi there ... I have searched in the research trees - but I just can't seem to find it. Where the heck do I research Defense hangers? Thanks Dano
Hey there, It seems all of the other abilities are interesting and believable in the backdrop of the story. But I have trouble trying to believe that a capital ship, independent of the government could force a temporary cease fire. I can just imagine: "Yes - I know we have orders to destroy every ship of the enemy, and yes I know that particular ship has asked fir these cease fires about ten times, but even though there is no advantage to us they have asked for an armastice A
Thanks for the info ... this seems to be a remarkable game indeed. I was thinking it was going to be warcraft with spaceships *Shudder* Dano
So I have been toying with whether or not to buy this game - I love Space Operas but I hate RTS' ... tough call Anyway I understand the Diplomacy needs a bit of tweaking (particularly with being given Impossible diplomatic missions that costs you relationship status), so am hoping that gets fixed in the update. What I would like to know now is ... are there any tactics involved in the actual battles or is it pretty much like all the other 4X games out there ... who ever brings
I don't have the game ... but I wonder why everyone is wishing that the diplomacy was like Rome:Total War? I found that diplomacy model to be a train wreck. It sounded good on paper but the AI was so erratic that it was pretty much worthless. I agree that AI's should never get really offended if you turn down an exceptional request on their part. That is one of the things I hated about Civilization "Diplomacy". Hey I know we are allies, but you know those 30 turns you spent research
Hi There, Even though I generally hate RTS', the fact that the game seems to be a slower pace might mean I could enjoy this game. But one question I can't find an answer to is a decent description on how diplomacy works. Is it basically just enemy/ally, or is it more sophisticated than that? For example can I pay or give A something to attack B? Can I make demands, or give gifts? What about buying research/ships/resources/worlds? What about trading tech? The term 'diploma
