I also came across the same discrepancy and decided to dig through the tech tree a little further and came to a few other surprising discovers. I'll note the most eggregious here: Altarians have by far the worst terraforming. Instead of biospheres and ultra-terraformer, which can terraform 1 of any tile and any number of poor quality tiles, they just get biosphere manipulators, which can only terraform 1 poor quality tile (contrary to the description). This means the Altari

Hi all, I've noticed that in terms of range/mass, environmental support is the most effective life support module despite being the first one unlocked, making it almost useless to proceed further into the life support tech tree except for starbase range upgrades (which are extraordinarily useful, after all). Is this intended or a balance issue?
Similar seems to apply for many Drengin techs. I have been unable to upgrade my fighting pits to arena and slaughtorium, neither can I see a way to build tourist haven or tourist destination from galactic cruise lines and wonders of the galaxy techs. I also cannot build an omega research center from slave coordination. I've also noticed a slight discrepancy between the slave recycler, which states "+25% Population Cap" and its upgrade, the protein resequencer, which states "+50% Foo
Thanks for the advice. Also a gfx driver update may have fixed the hang, I'm really not sure.
Hi all, I just exited my game in order to restart to attempt to fix a hanging turn bug (totally separate issue), and when I tried to open the game again steam complained that it is still already running. It does not show up in my task manager as an application, but it does as a process and it is using 51% of my CPU and over 3GB of RAM. Killing the process let the game start again fine. Any more information that might be helpful? Thanks, Jo
I have had similar issues hitting enemy ships, even without starbases nearby, and I don't think their ships had any form of targeting support modules, but I am not sure.
Can confirm having had this bug occur for me as well. I accepted the peace and it stopped happening.
Hmm, somehow this got double-posted. Can a mod please delete this post? Thanks
Really enjoy the early access so far at around 10 hours in, so I figured I'd post a few of my early thoughts. A couple of bugs I have seen are some battle viewer issues where missiles kill things before they actually hit, and missiles also aim wildly at starbases and sometimes the battle doesn't seem to end unless you click the resolve battle button. I also once had a CTD when the AI attacked me, I fought the battle, and then I was able to quickly select the ship and move it t
