http://i.imgur.com/WOraOoG.jpg this is really cool, 2 of these would be really sick, a little like the gutpunch pistol but has +2 pistol range per s.con, and trample! Really digging priceless parts this update, BXP. There are some very interesting parts with lots of weird mods on them. This sort of thing goes a long way to getting that diablo loot feel going. It isn't just about bigger numbers, these sort of parts open up
What diff level were you on? We did just change the ramp on that to be more reasonable (and even-up at normal).
CL 125, which is meant to be the hardest in the game but still, sweet baby jesus look at that things health pool! I just did a quagmire attempt at CL125 where out the gate an enemy servo used a rocket on me that did over 800 damage with 90+ armour on the mech that got hit lol. It&#

2 new vids, against wondible during pvp with devs night, these fights show the power of drones off

I wanna see a level 5 1000+ qual one of these
The devs read literally everywhere and post too, they'll see this fine. Yes the servos are stronger than yours, they scale with challenge level, what challenge level 'normal' difficulty is changes as you level up. Try going back to easy if you feel the ones on normal are unreasonable to beat with your gear, there is no penalty or opportunity cost for doing so. Echoing what you said about drone management. Rally to unit/servo is great but it really needs a follow/gu
Thanks for the games - fortunately I didn't play Draco. [e digicons]:D[/e]
lol wondible and I were both having issues with finding games on matchmaker with devs, it kept matching us up :D It was probably for the best though. I'm really happy for y'all that some new people showed up, much better than a draco vs the devs night ;)
This is on in an hour from this post, come on down!
Quoting Vithar133, reply 3 I do know about the ability to rename them; it was more a question of curiosity more than anything. (It'd also be nice to set whether or not you're fighting serious/silly/mixed name mechs). No option planned. Mo
Heh, not bad.
How high does item level go up? Most of my stuff is 'level 5' even though some of it is over 1000 qual. I used to think of qual as the item level now I'm kinda confused lol BTW with the game ending servo weapon upgrade that thing does 1k crits 0_o hectic. For 3k bloom it better do that though lmao.
look what I got Jugg at Drek's ;)
The bug report just takes me to a blank web support form. Is that intentional? Are you gathering hidden game info in the background? Do AI servos get arbitrary bonuses, or can I really get parts that good? Are they adjusted to my level? Normal is slaughtering me at level 10, I can't image what those servos would do to a new player.
The new difficulty system AFAIK works off 'chall
I found out I have something to do that day but luckily PVP night should end before I gotta go, lol. Gunna be close though may have to leave after an hour. If wondible and I show up I recommend you folks devhax yourself some nice mechs because otherwise we're going to push you around, hehe. Hopefully we get some low level players in for a taste of what this game can really play like

Hopefully it is out just before the stream like beta 2 was :D Then we can all talk about it
I'm wondering now... Is it possible to add an option that controls what style of names the generator produces? (Like Serious names only, Funny names only or a general mix of serious and funny.)
You can manually rename them, click the name and it becomes a text box you can type in. I gave all mine names related the pilot powers
It is really cool when you get your mech next to like, a ruined office block or the little cars etc and realize that you're huge. I hope when the maps are all dressed up y'all include more ruins on the maps Can the servo walk over that abandoned suburb while you cackle IRL at the debris flying around? If so I know what I'm doing first when I get the update lol.
I probably should have said different name not better. Like, if it bothered people enough that you put chairs on your shoulders and sit in both at the same it'd be an easier option than making it so you can only take one, adding a second item to make up for that and so on. Personally I laughed about 2 comfy chairs and got over it, I'm not sure it's a big problem, just sorta weird.
All fair points. Armor has been a little bland for sure. Apropos... we just pulled type-specific armor last week. There's a single armor value and it works against everything. We're trying it out (it'll be in the next update) because people just weren't having time/desire to think about those specifics in the heat of battle. That change coincided with a big rebalance of all the damage and armor values.
Armour is weird because it works so great against fast attacks, which is most of the buildings and units, but not creeps or most servo abilities. Because those things are easily killed I consider it my least wanted stat. This does however mean we have in armour and health a way to counter small and big hits. As well as resists to provide some protection to procs. I think there's 4 problems with how it works in practice though - There aren't many elemental attacks that

Patches come so fast around here, I don't think having a second beta branch for unstable/experimental builds would be that useful. Just having to set up a way to copy profiles over etc sounds like a lot of work. Also I'm glad Jacob and Graham get to find bugs like 'lamps crash the game' and not me. When patches can't come out with Dave's programmer art anymore (post launch) it'll probably be way more useful. For now they come fast and we get to say our piec
