Currently, you don't. You have to buy the parts you don't want to maybe get parts you want. The devs have plans beyond this like having it cycle periodically but they haven't said what exactly they're going to do about it. Very common complaint.
Insane wrap-up: Kira escort mission was fairly easy using what I'd learned from the earlier difficulties - drone control fist and healing hand. Big Bloom took a lot of iterations and trying several different strategies. Finally got it with 15 mining drones, Blink strip-mining up the left side, mixed behemoths and kraxx, and a servo that can outrange bastions (usually; may depend on angle or approach) The f
I haven't figured out how to fire Kira's ability Sometimes after a match, if I bring up the goals box, it's partly off the top of the screen, making the close button inaccesible. It's modal, so I have to exit the game. Got through the first two new insane missions on the first try, but I can't get started on Attack of the Twins. One point is that the bloom canisters seem to be random, so t
I reckon they've delayed the game for a few months while they finish The Incorruptibles and neglected to tell us. Just speculation though, can't really tell for certain because they haven't told us anything lol
Wasn't taken down for a patch :(
At this point I would just like some assurance that the dev's haven't abandoned this game; I've read of that happening far too much.
They haven't, don't worry about that. BXP currently have 2 games in late stages of production, this one and The Incorruptibles, for IOS/Android. Around when TIC soft launched they began running out of time to talk about Servo. At the same time, Servo has entered a
At this point I'd even take news on the update, haven't heard anything about it in about 6+ weeks lol. I sometimes wonder if there will even be a beta patch or if beta 4 is the last one before launch. Wish they'd just tell us, it has been way too long without a shred of info edit: that's weird, I don't have the servo founders badge anymore
There's some vanity feature you're meant to unlock at level 5, but it isn't in in Beta 4. I posted a thread about it here and the devs didn't elaborate on it, so I have no idea what form the vanity feature will take. People have suggested stickers as well as painting. Personally I'd prefer the dropship level 5 one be changing servo colours in some way and level 10 be stickers (level 9 reward as the 3rd servo class?) Make them custom stickers so I can
This isn't a MOBA, it is an RTS with customizable hero units. There are bases (plural), worker units, combat units you give direct orders to, resource management etc. Early on the base and units felt like they were there to augment the hero units, this is no longer the case. Your heroes are there to augment your base and army. Without an army your servos are just going to die, the other player won't even have to make their heroes do it, they'll just hit you
Bump. What about the stream? I am assuming at this point that the stream is on hiatus until you say otherwise, but it would be good to hear it officially. There are still people showing up for the stream btw.
Has it hit RC0 yet? Or still putting things in?
Tried everything and still the same. There aren't much options in graphic settings to improve game experience with lower GPUs. I'm really in love with SERVO but if I can't play for sure I won't have it you know [e digicons]:\[/e] It's being an hard decision...
Awww, that's a shame. BXP's other games have been on phones using the same engine so hopefully they can get it to run better on la
Before beta 3 you would have been right about units being useless, not the case anymore though. If you did what you described in a match with me I'd just do this to you Say what you will about lack of unit variety and other factions but units are real strong in beta 4, stronger than the servos I'd argue.
The developers have said before that they're still optimizing pathfinding (this is the reason for units being able to move through each other and the cap on how many units you can select at once), but that isn't usually the problem for people who aren't getting good frame rates. I suspect they haven't put a lot of effort into making sure all the effects run well on low-spec computers yet. On most desktops the game runs at a constant 60 FPS and doesn't have problems with CP
Pausing on your online profile isn't a problem, the major difference is that the save game is on their servers, and so can't be edited. The game is funded and they have QA for the majority of bug finding, BXP seem mostly after feedback. They iterate a lot on the game so knowing what people like and don't like is important. So is knowing what features people really want, how they find the UI, what leveling feels like etc. BonusXP read this forum and the steam community one
Great feedback - thanks Draco. Would love to hear what others think of Supply Drones and the economy as it is now. Creeps as part of your economy are fine, but not something you can invest in, if that makes sense. To get them you invest in your military, which helps your economy, so there isn't much choice in what you spend your resources on so much. Drones are a clearer choice, I'm making the decision
Before I start I want to say I like supply drones, as a concept. Destructible ramp ups for economy are cool, and makes you think twice about whacking them on an unsafe well. Requiring players to invest in drones to boom is cool too, there is the risk that you have less military when the opponent comes to raid you, with the payoff of having a stronger econ in the mid/late game. These things own, the stasis beam a
Oh and stats page could use some work, the top of the xp earned, scrap earned, credits earned leaderboards are just everyone who has completed a campaign mission
lol, it is cool how you can see who is farming sandstorm ;) The MP PVP board is sparse as heck who wants to help me fill it up?

Ponzi Scheme means a specific thing it isn't a generic term for scam. A Ponzi Scheme is when you use money from new investors to pay the returns to old investors to give the illusion that you are making money and back up your claims of high returns. CIG got willingly given free capital they never have to pay back. So, what investors would he convince? It isn't a publicly traded company.
That they are good is subjective, that the market has determined them to be not good doesn't mean that the game itself isn't good, that would be factually and logically incorrect. After all, it's about what the people value, and what they are aiming for. Perhaps he's not aiming to make the most money and prefers a niche? How well do you know him and his agenda?
Seems to me that a "closing man" is exactly what Star Citizen needs. It is the new definition of feature creep in my opinion.
Absolutely. Some of the delays were going to happen anyway, but things like the FPS have no reason not to be playable in some form as a public alpha. They've had to basically rewrite cryengine to make a bunch of space travel related things viable
